Infographics are instant eye-catchers. They tend to draw interest and curiosity because the aesthetic presentation makes information digestible.
We’ve compiled a list of visual trivia for you to munch on. A few of them are life essentials, like picking the right apple and laundry cycles. You may also come across a handful that may come in handy one day, like Germany’s cultural do’s and don’ts or pricing psychology tips to help you sell more stuff.
Scroll through the images below; hopefully, you learn at least one new thing today.

A Cool Guide Equality, Equity, And Justice: Breaking It Down Differently
Equity is what the German health insurance system tries to achieve: Everybody pays the same % of their wages (14,7 if I am not mistaken) into the insurances, but everybody receives the treatment they need, independent from how much you put in. The system is not flawless, of course, because of many reasons. One of them is that higher wages can opt out (they may not return if the wages drop!) and lower wages are more impacted by a percentage than higher. The Dutch try a different approach, everybody pays the same for basic cover (no opt out).
Research has shown that humans naturally process information with visual input. It’s why it is easier for us to read instructions with photos and graphics than in text blocks.
According to the National Library of Medicine (NLM), articles with a visual abstract are three times more likely to draw views.

Experts in the digital industry consider infographics as effective marketing tools. SEO and keyword research platform Semrush defines them as a “compelling blend of visual data and minimalistic text.”
In digital marketing, infographics tell stories. The goal is to turn “complicated” information into something visually appealing and easily understood.

Aluminium will not go away, since it's an inert metal (its affinity towards oxygen just creates protective layer, but otherwise it's the same thing). Good stuff with aluminium is that it's fully recyclable and reusable. But since it's cheap, we don't bother recycling it as much as we should...

Many of the Cool Guides on this list contain data and scientific information. As NLM points out, you can deliver them to a broad audience by creating visuals catering to non-specialists.
This means avoiding too much technical jargon. But if you must include such details, make sure to provide context.

Getting to that sweet spot of images, charts, and texts is key to an infographic’s aesthetic appeal. There must be a balance between data visualizations, words, and pictures.
Experts advise limiting small texts to titles that stand out. Annotations should be concise, and bullet points should be used to enumerate items.

A Cool Guide To The Number Of Animals Slaughtered Per Day On A Global Scale
Is there a chart of how much meat per animal is tossed every day? Separate for "could not be sold" and "customer didn't eat it and forgot to use the freezer". Killing animals for food is not always and in general bad, but if you kill it, you have to eat it. Otherwise it is not only an economical stupid thing to do, but foremost a crime against animals and abusing nature.

A Cool Guide On The Human Cost Of The Israeli-Palestinian Conflict
TBF this chart is meaningless without more recent figures, and to make any association with American leaders you'd really need a lot more context. Taking your attitude would imply that Biden was somehow responsible for recent events there, which is no more or less accurate that Trump's claims themselves.
Load More Replies...missing every terrorist attack that occured in israel. I could probably name said amount of israelis who died right now. Its thousands upon thousands of lives that ur shoving under the carpet. every last one no matter what side they are on is meaningful. These people have families who care about them. Not only is this statistic completely wrong on both sides of the story, it is very hurtful for people to see this amount being lessened when that person meant so much to them. Not everything u see is true especially if its bored panda. News is biased no matter what party it comes from. This is not the source to get your information that you may incorporate into ur daily life bc ull sound stupid. there are far more casualties that is what war does. The UN is never a good source. The government seriously? Every day even b4 october seventh I hear about car rammings, shootings, stabbings, rockets, missiles. This is inaccurate
This is obviously an emotional issue for a lot of people, myself included. As a Jewish Australian, my heart is breaking for the families of the hostages and the victims of the October 7th massacre. This is not to justify the pain and suffering of the Palestinian people, who are no doubt suffering terribly. What I, and a lot of people ask, is that people look at nuances- pain and suffering of people cannot be demonstrated and measured in graphs and data. Pain is not exclusive to either side. Neither is the blame. Please, fact check, have a look at who is providing you the information you are receiving, what is the source and what is the agenda. If we have any hope of ever finding a solution we have to see the humanity in both sides and stop following empy slogans.
Um sorry. These numbers are provided to the UN, from the Palestinian health ministry, otherwise known as run by Hamas and no self respecting agency would use them as a source
Agreed but I wouldn't believe numbers that Israel provided either unless verified by a neutral source.
Load More Replies...Can someone explain like I’m 5 what is exactly going on without getting political or argumentative please?
It was decided after WWII that Israel should have their own country where it had been thousands of years before. So the region where Palestinians were already living was divided up. The lines of division have changed over time, by each side taking them by force. More recently, Palestine wants to be recognised as an official state with more power than they have currently, known as the 'two state solution' but Israel doesn't want this. Both sides have had terrorist attacks against each other at various times as well as official war movements/attacks. That is my understanding anyway.
Load More Replies...Exactly. The Palestinian didn't exist as a peoplehood until the 1960s. At that point Gaza was under Egypt and the West Bank a part of Jordan. And yet, most israelis support a two state solution. It is the Palestinian leadership that rejected multiple offers for peace because they simply wouldn't recognise Israel's right to exist. At all. And to everyone talking about ethnic cleansing- have you ever wondered what happened to all the Jewish people who used to live throughout the middle east and north Africa? Approximately a million of them?
Load More Replies...Using disproportionate numbers of casualties is meaningless in assessing blame. Germany and Japan suffered far more casualties in WW2 than we did. Does that make the US the bad guys?
I do not believe that the way to refer to this cart is by saying it is a "COOL GUIDE' ! Would you say a "COOL GUIDE TO THE HOLOCOST'? A COOL Guide to human trafficking??? words matter. Just my Humble thought.
This is an insane relgious war that has been going on for 1000+ years now. the Quran and the Tourat are the source of it. Try to shut me up but it wont work. I am glad the bible got patched at least it is not as harmful now but i would be glad if got rid of the abrahamic cults alltogether. Some poltics and money are involved sure. but the crus of the problem is that there are people who are brainwashed into thinking they are "chosen by god and superior to the rest of us who are not chosen" In my arabic muslim family the word they used was "gaori" to refear to the rest of humanity. I am pretty sure the jewish young ppl are also being tought that insane bs. Until that stops. the war wont stop. it will just keep cycling next it will be the jewish ppl being genocided and then the muslims and over and over and over again. 1000+ years i am surprised ppl are not catching on yet...
Nothing religious in this. It's all land grab and ethnic displacement.

Why do they have to use such meaningless measures so as to defy any comparison? How large is a large shrimp? (even assuming they mean a prawn). What size can of tuna do they mean? If you just quoted them all using a single weight measure, preferably grams, wouldn't it all be so much simpler?

Khazar saber? Cool! The Khazars, by the way, *converted to Judaism*, a poor move in terms of persecution but really nice as usually people are converting away from us. Allegedly they were quite nice to Muslims and Christians as well but are now the basis for an absurd theory that modern Jews aren't 'real' Jews due to intermixing with the Khazars, and thus, claims of being indigenous to Israel are false. Never mind that there are lots of Jews who never left Israel and wouldn't have known about the Khazars, or that Khazar genes have been shown in multiple studies to have almost no influence on typical Jews (Jews from the region more so), and that Palestinian genes *also* weren't fixed in stone for the over-a-millennium between the end of a Jewish state and its reestablishment, but when did *sense* ever intrude into a conspiracy theory, especially about DA JEWS?
