Even if you can speak Thai, there is no reason to complain about someone's second language.

I bet the people who are complaining can't write English as good as what's on this sign even though it's supposedly their first language

passive aggressive at its finest. Respect. I have no qualms calling out yanks who feel the need to call out the grammar or spelling of people who are not first language English by asking them how many languages they speak.

This. When I meet foreigners in my own land, I figure if I could speak their language as well as they speak mine, I'd be proud of myself. And thank you to all the forgiving people when I visit your country.

Tourists are idiots. We were leaving an evening sports game early and they had horse mounted police (early aughts) to help keep the crowds under control because there wasn’t a lot of area cop cars could get to. They were really chill and talking to people leaving. I asked if it was ok to pet, I have pet a few horses and animals have always been drawn to me. So the officer said ok and reiterated how to stroke her nose, I did and after the second she turned her head slightly and nipped my forearm. I immediately stepped back and we all laughed. It didn’t hurt like go to the hospital but it was uncomfortable. So we wished the officer a good and safe night and walked away. I never approach any animal no matter how small without asking permission, even if it’s a wild animal😜

Please, someone tell me they've recently trained to bite.

Looks like no one actually watched the video. He wasn't kicking the animal. He lifted its hoof with his foot, kind of a low five. Then this dude came quacking like a goose, shooting his heroic tik-tok material.

To be honest, it looks more like he's high-fiving the deer's hoof with his foot, but OK, let it be ragebait.

I think this is wildly exaggerated. This guy is just giving him a love tap. Ops trying to sound like the hero. Really, he just stood by and started filming instead of stopping it? And then he chased him out of the park. BS. As an animal lover myself, my first thought would not be to film it.

Just so people know: the guy in the video did not kick the deer like a football, he more gently "shook hoof" with the deer, i'm not sure he hurt it or anything other than possibly annoying it... I have been to Nara and have seen both Japanese and tourists tormenting the deer more than this. However, the deer in Nara are considered sacred, as they are messengers to gods. So best to just admire them on their own terms and leave em be. (though some are more friendly than others and may approach you, especially if you have food)

Beside the fine he should have been charged for the restoration work to make the name go away.

I don't know if it's the same tourist, but I read one did that, got fined and then said he was not aware that the Colosseum was that old.

Betting on them being Americans. The US has such a short history that they don't understand what they are destroying. I was at a museum in Spain, and the tour guide was very clear that we were not to touch anything. Well, the Americans didn't listen.

Than we met a group of american students, thinking they were travelling to Disneyland. I remember entering in Gunnery Sgt Hartman mode ...

I’ve been to Auschwitz, it’s a place of extraordinarily powerful energies, you can feel the weight of history upon you. How anyone can be ignorant to that astounds me. Humans, urgh.
