Plot twist... they were all thumbs down, so they cut them off and flipped them over
Bored Panda reached out to Dieter again! Since it's the 3rd time we have featured his comics, we got curious whether the artist has noticed some sort of change or development in his style. Dieter replied that he doesn't think that his style has developed a lot over the years. "I think that my style still needs some evolving. I'm not satisfied with it. I think it is a bit too simple. So I guess I should stick at it and see where it goes."

Load More Replies...Like most artists, Dieter also faces some challenges while doing creative work. For him, the most challenging aspect is finding the time to make cartoons. "Getting ideas to draw, that's not difficult: I always have (way) more ideas than time to work them out. It is always the lack of time that frustrates me. I would love to draw full-time but it's hard to make a living as a cartoonist. For the moment I have to make my money in other ways. My dream is to earn my living by pen and pencil, but this is not possible now. I cannot pay my bills this way, alas."
Enough influencers taking photos in front of cars they don't own to be a meme. They are not here for him, just for the selfie.

Still can't get over the fact that one of the girls has no pants on.
This is close to the plot of The Rage In Placid Lake, one of my favourite movies (tho his parents are hippies not clowns)
Most of Dieter's comics have only a single panel. The artist shared that he found that one-panel cartoons work best on his Instagram account. "This is because I think people don't always want to spend too much time on multi-panel comics. For me, It's more work to make multiple-panel cartoons and when I notice that these don't get a lot of reactions then I tend to make one-panel cartoons. So it's not that I have a preference for one-panel cartoons but I would say that it's more the medium that decides the format, not me."
Is the gator's left arm a handbag/jacket/pair of boots for a relative now???
After being asked how people mostly react to his work, the artist replied that he doesn't get a lot of reactions. But when he does, they are mostly positive. "This stimulates me to keep going because I don't make a lot of money with my cartooning. The things I post are mostly just stuff I make in my free time. I love getting reactions to my comics because then I know what the public likes or doesn't like which helps me to make future decisions about what I should publish."
That guy standing in the middle of the commotion just looking up…I mean i could never
As for future plans, Dieter wants to make some comic strips. "I have some ideas for short comic projects (stories that take just a few pages, no long stories). But it is difficult to work on these projects when you have a day job and a family life. Time is always a problem in making comics. It's a challenge but with some time management, I'm sure I will be able to do this."
Have the dog go get toilet paper DON'T LET THE INTRUSIVE THOUGHTS WIN
This reminds me of an old joke about a bear and a rabbit in the forest
I saw that on a card, I had to go outside and slid down the wall wheezing with laughter. I didn't dare buy the card in case it set me off again, so I sent my husband in to get it

Load More Replies...well, there's dog flavour, its a bit meaty, but very popular, human flavour, verrrry stinky, and lastly, there's random swirl, which you don't want to know about.
You pay, this woman, to sit on babies!? That's discusting!! I do it for nothing! ~CAT in the Hat
As job descriptions go, a literal interpretation of "honey dipper" would be a vast improvement over its current usage.

Load More Replies...Fun fact: goldfish don't have a short memory at all, they can remember things for at least three months, which scientists already discovered in the 80s. Not so fun fact: fish bowls are horribly bad for goldfish, it's pretty much animal abuse. Another fun fact: goldfish like to dig through sand with their snouts, kinda like pigs. Quite cute.
Scotch is a type of whisky, therefore all scotch is whisky but not all whisky is scotch. And if you get really picky, usually it’s spelled “whisky” when referring to scotch or Canadian whisky and “whiskey” when referring to American whiskey and Irish whiskey. :-)
