it's not kind, you only think it's kind because disabled people haven't ever been accommodated for nearly enough so whenever someone does the bare minimum it feels like they really did something
Load More Replies...Now if they would only add step stools for reaching the upper shelves.
you don't need to be visually impaired to have difficulty reading some product labels. They have so much legally required BS on them nowadays, the text has to be so tiny to be able to cram it all in.
It's the more important stuff like ingredients that they mictotype and use hard to differentiate colors. Fir most no problems. For allergies problems. Major problems. Also Enriched white flour = wood flour =/= wheat flour
Load More Replies...Now they need to add step stools to help us height challenged teach the upper shelves.
I habitually forget my cheaters before shopping, but I will "borrow" the cheaters on the rack for sale in the store until I'm ready to check out, then I return them to the rack.
I love the inclusivity of this. Is there a danger when the cart is taken outside and left in the cart thing in the parking lot?
That gray flap thingy is probably meant to cover the magnifying glass when it's not in use
Load More Replies...Cool, but where I live this is a great way to wind up with: A: Mostly busted carts, or B: Old People fighting over the "best" magnifying cart, or C: A horrible combination of A & B.
I just take a picture and zoom in. I'm not vision impared, just very tall and can't get low enough to the bottom shelves to make sure the price is for the right thing.
What Congressman do I need to slap to make this happen in every US state
Yes please. This would mean we don't have to get our glasses out to read the damned labels. Why is the scan area so damn big? And the ingredients so small? Aren't the ingredients more important especially for those with allergies????????
I see people with bad eyesight use their camera phone to zoom in on products to read the cost.
We have those! 😊 Edit: omg I did not notice this IS in Germany. It‘s the store Rossmann. They are like a … what do you call them? Not Pharmacy, I think… where you can buy shampoo, toilet paper, Parfum, diapers… oh, drugstore!
Visually impaired??? Yeah... uhm... you spelled "Most of us over 35" wrong...
The labels that I have trouble reading are the ones on the edge of the shelf with the price on it. So many items are mis-shelved or moved around by other customers.
It is to look at the printing on the stuff, for instance to see if the lotion you're looking at has Shea butter in it.
Load More Replies...Upnpopular opinon, but this is clever .... at virtue signaling. So every shopping cart has a lens on it that only one person at most at a time will probably use?

This is when you want to be a millionaire so you can be like "All the above please."
I hate that they never warned us for the spider ones. I don't know how they could but no one reads the captions really. And the spider bed sheet didn't even mention spiders!
