    In Scotland we had a very large log in the garden, covered in moss, ferns and lichen, I would not let my husband move it. Came home one day and the builders had lit a fire next to it, left and the log had caught fire. I was so cross

    In Flander's Fields ;-) ..... It's from the "Poppy" family, so pretty common in agricultural fields and meadows here in Belgium. (and can be found in most of Europe, parts of Africa and Asia). This one is a variant species of the well known full red poppy that is used in remembrance of World War 1, which explains it's shift in color.

    It was a wonderful surprise and the flowers were tiny and yellow. Then they died and the looong stem dried up and next winter when I brought it in for the winter it grew me another thank you flower. Happy aloe plant.

    Do you use the Aloe on cuts and burns? My grandmother used to do that. Go cut of a section of a stem and rub it on the affected area.

    I love Monarch Butterflies, Does anyone remember finding them on Milkweed and the watching them cocoon and become butterflies? And shortly after my Mom passed a Monarch butterfly came and landed on my hand at night for a few minutes when I was really missing her. And yes I do have a witness too!

    Yes! I am fascinated by all the detail, i have so many pics of mushroom...underbellies? lol, anytime i see one, im like those guys running around sticking their phones up womens skirts to get a picture, only with mushrooms.
