I worked in retail. The getting yelled at by customers thing really doesn't happen that much unless you actually work at the customer service desk or if you're a cashier. Or at least it didn't happen to me much. But I have a pleasant voice and I genuinely enjoy helping the customers.

I read a book where this group of archaeologists went to Peru to see what happened to the last group. They climbed up this high hill to the camp to find everyone dead, with plants growing out of them. The plants were intelligent enough to learn from "hunting" humans. It was a very interesting survival story. Very dark, but I couldn't put it down.
