There’s much more where that came from and, thankfully, we have the wonderful invention of memes to unite us all in the struggles and joys of womanhood.
One page has been sharing just that type of content for the past 6 years, and it is called “Girls Meet The Internet.” Their 98.7K followers have been loving the memes and the oh-so-relatable posts, and we’re proud to be bringing some of our favorites to you today, dear Pandas.

The first rule of Girl Code is we stick by one another no matter what. Whether we’ve been friends since kindergarten or just met in the restroom, we’ve got each other’s back, especially in matters of safety and feminine hygiene. Life is way too complex for us to be at one another’s throats.
Rather, let’s laugh at the ironic, unforgiving, and delightful bits of life that are perfectly represented in these posts shared by “Girls Meet The Internet.” The Instagram account has been entertaining its 98.7K followers since July 2017, and there seems to be no sign of it stopping.
Whilst you’re scrolling through this list, I thought it would be interesting to delve a little bit into the notion of feminism—the belief in social, economic, and political equality of the sexes. As stated on Encyclopaedia Britannica, feminism is manifested worldwide and is represented by various institutions committed to activity on behalf of women’s rights and interests.
Although a lot of people nowadays tend to misunderstand its purpose, few look into the history that started it all. Throughout most of Western history, women were confined to the domestic sphere, while public life was reserved for men. Even as late as the early 20th century, women could neither vote nor hold elective office in Europe and in most of the United States.
Women were prevented from conducting business without a male representative. Married women could not exercise control over their own children without the permission of their husbands. Moreover, women had little or no access to education and were barred from most professions. In some parts of the world, such restrictions on women continue today.
Yeah, July 2022, a 500 acre fire in Texas was caused by glass in a garbage can magnifying the sun and igniting papers. It burned 5 homes and took 8 days to contain.

I had a place that made amazing French bread and I went through a few years of eating an entire 1,600 calorie loaf several times a week for breakfast.
Not only a womanhood issue. If I could life off fresh bread and butter, I could give up everything else.

I love fresh hot bread from my bread maker. I let the butter sit out to get soft and when the bread is done….. I slice off the fattest top crust of the hot soft bread and slather it in butter. Don’t even make it to the couch, the top of the bread is gone before the kitchen. That shite is crack…almost orgasmic. I said almost lol

Saying "toast and butter" somehow seems to imply that there are people eating toast WITHOUT butter - literally RAW toast..
I am currently in my semi-annual rye toast and butter phase. And I would not find the thought of devouring an entire loaf in one sitting unusual.
Me, after finally finding a gluten free bread that is identical to 'regular' bread

8 billion people in the world, why do people think that they are the only ones who are special to think a certain way?
One time when we were snowed in, I made a loaf of bread, and my mother and I did indeed eat the entire loaf with butter in one sitting.
I get exciting when I bake my own homemade from scratch bread and pull it out of the oven. I always have to have a slice right away.
That's why I don't buy bread regularly (proper bakery bread not the plastic supermarket shite), I can down a loaf in one sitting with Marmite, or eggs, or ham or or or. Love toast.
for some reason, after i had knee replacement surgery i lost my appetite for weeks. but the smell of toast would wake me from a deep sleep and i had to have it!

I got so stoned one day, major munchies and opened a new loaf of (god save me white) bread , and toasted two slices slathered them in mayo and ate them, then repeat until loaf was gone. I told myself later they were simply BLT's hold the lettuce tomato and bacon.
I used to have a cat that would eat bread. He'd bite through the wrapper right in the middle so he could ruin the entire loaf. Luckily, Bouche has no interest in bread other than that I use it to make sandwiches. She's definitely interested in the ham and turkey.
I got a bread machine and it's all I can do to keep myself from devouring the loaf as soon as it's cool enough.

Nah, for me it's the Asiago bread from Safeway. It's got lots of holes so if you put too much butter on then you kind of have to squeeze some out.

I had a Celiac test and was told it was positive. None of my symptoms were improving on the gluten-free diet and every time I expressed my concerns to my gastro, he said it was necessary because I had Celiac disease. My PCP and my gastro kept me on that diet for over five years. Then I saw another specialist who questioned why I thought I had Celiac and I told him I had a positive test. He turned his monitor toward me to show me the same screen all of my doctors in that network see (including my PCP and gastro). The test was negative and there was a note from my PCP on it to tell me it was positive. I ate nothing but buttered toast for about a week and I don't trust doctors.
Try it with plain rice. Fills you up a lot better, works out cheaper & your glucose levels won’t be quite as crazy. 🙂

My friend and I have writing chemistry. I write long, dialogue heavy rambles about characters that exist only in my mind, she makes them make sense to the outside world.
Studies show that in more gender-equal societies, men are half as likely to be depressed, less likely to commit suicide, have around a 40% smaller risk of dying a violent death, and even suffer less from chronic back pain. In an equal society, social issues such as sexual assault and domestic violence against men may be treated more seriously.
Feminism has also allowed men to have longer maternity leave and be full-time parents, combatting ‘breadwinner’ stereotypes. These are a few examples of what feminism can and continues to do for men. And it’s up to men to support it in whatever way they can.
There is still a long way to go when it comes to the realization of feminist ideals, but I’m sure that sooner rather than later we’ll develop as a society to embrace one another, respect one another, and be there for one another. In the meantime, here are some universal rules of Girl Code.
If a girl needs a tampon and you have a tampon—help her out. If you notice a girl is too intoxicated to even see straight, get her some water and assist as necessary to keep her safe. If you see someone harassing or unwantedly touching a girl, help her out. If a girl is crying, make sure everything is alright. Finally, passing judgment on others does nobody justice, we girls need to stick together.

When reading this post it occurred to me, that women often complain of their clothes having no or much too small pockets. This could be a conspiracy to keep women down, because they will then need to carry handbags to carry what they need and be at a disadvantage, with just one free hand (I use a bag with a long strap, so I carry it on my left side and on my right shoulder because I like to have my hands free).
I wear dark colored nurse scrub pants because they have lots of pockets and are easy to wash.
