From the outside, raising kids might look easy. But from the inside... Well, at least there's the internet.
The Facebook group 'Funny Parenting Memes' is a much-needed virtual sanctuary where moms and dads can share their experiences and find humor in their everyday challenges.
So if you too need a quick chuckle for the start of the week, here are some of the funniest and most popular posts we found on the 84,000-member online community. From babies and toddlers to tweens and teens, they have it all.

There's a good Chance mum didn't quite get it either, but "yes you can habe cookies" is a solid guess for an acceptable answer
When my siblings and I were toddlers we were allowed to only draw on the walls of one hallway at the back of the house which wasn’t visible to visitors. It was a win for both us and our parents. Once we grew up (aka learnt not to draw on walls), those walls were painted over and remained like new for the rest of the time we lived there.
My mother still feels uncomfortable when my brother and I roast eachother and tries to smooth it over, mum there's nothing to smooth - we're both laughing. Bless her.
I always wondered why you have the most energy when you don't need it! I need toddler levels of energy now, when I have stuff to do, not when I'm a tiny freeloader with no responsibilities
as someone with a baby brother, i can confirm that he has the grip strength of a gym rat and i can also confirm that my face is forever crumpled like wrapping paper

You definitely need humour to get through life with kids. Build a strong relationship with them. That will get you through the teen years. And remember that kids grow up, the memories of their childhoods will stay with them forever. I only ever remember my father being a drunk c*unt and when he was dying of cancer my brother didn't visit him once. I was a bit kinder. But I didn't grieve his death.
