Have you ever had a conversation with someone about your favorite food or drink, only to have them turn their nose up in disgust? "Ew, how on Earth can you possibly enjoy that?" they might say. "It's gross!"
And they're well within their rights. After all, taste is highly subjective; just because someone doesn't enjoy a particular flavor or texture doesn't mean it's not delicious to others. Right?
Well, the Instagram account 'Most Offensive Foods' is here to challenge that notion. As its name suggests, this fun little online project is on a mission to find objectively terrible dishes, and it's not holding anything back. From brewing coffee with pasta water to a Doritos and Mountain Dew cheesecake, continue scrolling to check out the abominations.

These are generally special ordered fur new baby gender reveal Parties or for baby showers. Never see them in stores.

7-up cake and mt dew cake are both actually very good. Not sure why everyone is hating on them. They are very tasty, moist lemony sort of flavored cakes. Like lemon bread.

I know this sounds gross, but I have this delicious sweet 'n sour cocktail hot dog recipe. My mom refused to tell me what was in it (my step aunt made it) until I was older... ketchup and grape jelly. You literally melt them together. And if I had known I would've barfed, but listen - I loved it, and still do. Sometimes weird combos work.

This is actually not as bad as it sounds! It's quite common in the Netherlands. It's called "leverkaas" or literally, liver cheese. No clue why it's called "cheese" as there's no cheese in it at all!

I'm not sure why this is here. It's a fairly common flavor. Have y'all never had pineapple cupcakes or pineapple upside down cake? Or if you've ever been to Disney they have a pineapple whip drink that is crazy popular.

we have versions of this kind of cookie in grocery stores where I live. (different flavors of icing.... usually a color fitting the season) They are pretty good but very very sweet. the cookie part is very light, soft and cake like and the icing is thick and soft and very very sweet.

I thought these were supposed to be 'offensive', I think whoever decided on the title needs to look up what it means. Not sure if it's the cookies in general or the pineapple whip part, but I like these Lofthouse cookies.

It's a great idea to get kids to use sanitiser, providing you explain fully that it's not edible. Kids in the UK take them to school with them, and use throughout the day.

Awww. I legit had one of the Swedish Fish cans in my hand this past Saturday. It was sugar free and has aspartame, which reacts badly to bipolar. Had to put it back.

Apparently some people need thqt, so there: Salad: a cold dish of various mixtures of raw or cooked vegetables, usually seasoned with oil, vinegar, or other dressing and sometimes accompanied by meat, fish, or other ingredients. Ex. "a green salad"

Most of these seem fine, TBH. (I'm not sure why there are several hand sanitisers on the list, either. They're not "dishes" and adding a fragrance so it doesn't smell like raw alcohol seems a fairly straightforward idea.)

I wouldn't even touch the other slop, but I have had coffee cheese, and it's incredibly delicious! I keep looking for it here in my area, but haven't seen it for a couple years now. It must have been a fluke order or delivery to my favorite grocery store at the time, but I sure wish it would come back.
