Have you ever had a conversation with someone about your favorite food or drink, only to have them turn their nose up in disgust? "Ew, how on Earth can you possibly enjoy that?" they might say. "It's gross!"
And they're well within their rights. After all, taste is highly subjective; just because someone doesn't enjoy a particular flavor or texture doesn't mean it's not delicious to others. Right?
Well, the Instagram account 'Most Offensive Foods' is here to challenge that notion. As its name suggests, this fun little online project is on a mission to find objectively terrible dishes, and it's not holding anything back. From brewing coffee with pasta water to a Doritos and Mountain Dew cheesecake, continue scrolling to check out the abominations.

When you can't decide if you want heart failure or diabetes
Load More Replies...I once had a dessert pizza, but it was a LOT nicer than this abomination. A slightly sweetened pizza bread base, chocolate ganache, mascapone, banana slices and toasted flaked almonds. Drizzled with cream and chocolate sauce. (Apologies if I just caused an attack of the munchies.)
I luv how these r all(i think) american brands EDIT 1: Thanks y’all for 39 upvotes + creating a whole conversation of replies!
I would happily eat any of them. I'm definitely not going to pretend that it's a healthy breakfast, but I'd sure eat it.
All of these abominations exist, and more. They're just not usually side by side. Did it all start with Cookie Crisp? I don't know, but the wierdness continues.
Bubblegum flavour, not actual gum. Disgusting either way
Load More Replies...If you visit a friend in Greece, the custom is that the host will give you a drink. A spoon of 'masticha' - pine resin resembing mastic - in water, with the spoon still attached. You are supposed to drink the water and chew the rest off the spoon before you chat.... So, bubblegum, and chewing gum, can be in an edible form.
This seems like something Mikey from TMNT would make for himself and the rest of the team that even they wouldn't eat!
Is it just me or have I seen this pic at least five times since last month?
It’s de-constructed. It’s fancy. Where’s your class? But I still don’t know what a “ceased” salad is.
I'm pretty sure they meant ceasar salad, which I'm not 100 percent sure about but is a salad with iceberg lettuce, mayonnaise, bread cubes (forgot the real name for them)
Load More Replies...Wtf is a "ceased salad?" And why does noone ever spell check before posting on bpanda? It should be embarrassing
And idiots buying this think they're "owning" someone. See also: recent Trump NFTs. LOL
Yeah, those NFT's sold out in a day, which tells me the idiotic madness is still alive and well. They were hilarious to look at, and I enjoyed laughing at his pathetic attempt to curry favor and fleece his people out of more money.

A president should try to bring the country together, not isolate and cause hate.
I remember this. Someone asked them if it was good and all they replied was "no". LOL.
Yep. Some folks even eat rice for breakfast. (It's me, I'm one of those people. lol)
Load More Replies...I'm zero waste and can confirm...This isn't a thing. Saving it to make broth better, soups thicker, water plants? Maybe. Coffee? This person did not understand the assignment.
Her tweet was replied to "is it good?" And she answered " no ❤️".
Load More Replies...Pasta for breakfast? Let's call it at least novel. And the starchy water is surely an acquired taste in coffee - not to mention it's SALTED (yuck - and if it isn't: double yuck for ruining pasta!). That water works great for a finishing touch in pasta sauce. If you're really ambitious/stingy: try actually re-using it for the next batch of pasta, that might be an angle worth exploring.
I did some research on the pasta water in sauce thing since I can never make it work, and neither can anybody else I actually know. Turns out it doesn't show up anywhere until about 2015. None of my 300+ cookbooks have it. None of the recipes I have collected from the internet. Pretty sure some troll came up with it to see how gullible people are. Now I even see some of the people on Food Network pushing it. If it's such a great trick why didn't it exist before 2015.
Load More Replies...If you don't want to waste the water, then use the boiling water to pour over weeds in the garden. If you don't add salt to your cooking water, you can let it get cold, and use it to water the plants. (edited post to include the bit about salt. Thanks Nicole.)
Not sure how well the roses (or whatever) will respond to the salt in the water. Doesn't do much for the coffee either.
Load More Replies...The fact that these jello monstrosities are called 'salad' disturbs me more than anything.
The term ‘salad’ covers a very wide range of foods. It doesn't just mean lettuce. Fruit salads, pasta salads, savorys like egg salad and shrimp salad, jello salads both sweet and savory, and vegetable salads with or without lettuce. Get outside your bubble more.
Load More Replies...They just had to add the mayo on top, just in case you were not getting sick from the description yet.

Once I went to an ice cream fair in Italy, it was named something like "500 tastes", and that was the exact number of ice cream tastes they had! There were like artichokes ice cream, parmesan, raw ham! etc. And they were all tasting surprisingly good.
Well, there is ketchup flavour, and mustard flavour, that people actually bought and ate at the CNE....and I remember a food truck at one other event had several very interesting flavors that have slipped my mind by now.
Thank goodness this only happens periodically.
I challenge that. Perhaps this eliminates that puddle of water that comes out first. Still a no for me.
Load More Replies...I'm thinking this might be complete genius which means I really should say goodnight internet. Wuv yoo. xx
I would try this. I hate when the ketchup squirts out when I bite a burger.
My Dad swears by these things. I just swear at opening them.
A better way than what? Scraping it off of burgers out of the trash?
This is real, unfortunately. They sell it at Walmart and it looks just as unappealing in person 🤢
Load More Replies...I reallly wanted to try these for shïts n grins but they were like 30$ a bag on ebay
I might try it. Anything the could do to candy corn may be an improvement! :)
That's it. Brach's makes that candy in my town. Gotta go get a gas can.
Mix in some magnesium powder, just to be on the safe side.

Load More Replies...7-up cake and mt dew cake are both actually very good. Not sure why everyone is hating on them. They are very tasty, moist lemony sort of flavored cakes. Like lemon bread.
Ive made 7 up cup cakes they were delicious. Thank you for backing that..
Load More Replies...Listen, the best lemon cake I’ve ever had was made with 7-up. Delicious :)
7up is actually REALLY GOOD in vanilla cake. Replace the water needed for a box cake with 7up, it gives it a good little citrus kick and the carbonation makes the cake SUPER fluffy. Rootbeer works REALLY WELL in chocolate cakes too.
I've had biscuits made like that and they were amazing honestly they were
Idk why but moist is the most disgusting word ever for some reason
Load More Replies...I would happily try this. Probably with a spoon handy when it falls apart, but I'd eat it.
I agree. It's vanilla pudding and wafers with whipped cream. This would be messy but really doesn't belong on this list of traumatic food.
Load More Replies...Absolutely! These bananas pudding tacos are the best fusion food I’ve ever seen!
Load More Replies...When you want banana pudding but you don't want to wash a bowl or a spoon. I respect it
Looks like a proper desert taco to me. Maybe a bit too decadent for every occasion but as a rare treat, why not?
Oh this stuff is the best. Maybe not in a shell, but I’d give it a try.
I know this sounds gross, but I have this delicious sweet 'n sour cocktail hot dog recipe. My mom refused to tell me what was in it (my step aunt made it) until I was older... ketchup and grape jelly. You literally melt them together. And if I had known I would've barfed, but listen - I loved it, and still do. Sometimes weird combos work.
Yeah, that's kind of a common party appetizer trick. BBQ sauce and grape jelly mixed with small meatballs. https://www.tasteandtellblog.com/grape-bbq-meatballs/
Load More Replies...Will The Girl Who Ate Everything please just stop it.
From Texas, can confirm this is definitely not one of ours. We usually only clog our arteries with delicious fried stuff like pickles and cheesecake.
Load More Replies...And yet, not as bad as deep fried butter. Because who doesn't want to chow down on a ball of dough filled with melted, oily fat?
The thought of deep fried butter, makes me feel sick.
Load More Replies...No worse than a deep fried Mars Bar, and probably slightly healthier.....
I'd see nothing wrong with this... butternut squash soup uses the same spice combo as pumpkin pie spice, basically would just be a thinner version of that with noodles Maybe just skip the whipped cream and espresso shot haha
I actually tried this with the same line of thought and lemme tell you, NOPE. it tastes like an air freshener and slightly off milk. There's no real pumpkin flavor to it, it's just spices and fake vanilla . Literally gagged.

I've frozen Gatorade (a different flavor) in an ice cube tray. If you time it right, when you bite the ice, it is kinda like a frozen Gusher in your mouth.
I don't know what they wanted to perfect, but I do know that this is NOT a salad. The whole wording in combination with this pic is about as congruent as a photo of a roast turkey in a litter box with the caption "lovely day on the beach".
This is an aspic. They were once very popular. Especially in upscale homes. I guess some people still eat them. It’s just basically savory jello (jelly for you non-Americans I think) made with savory clear broth jello with meat and veg suspended. It’s actually not terrible. Sometimes even good.
Very prevalent in the 50s and 60s - no interest in returning! image_2022...a7-png.jpg

I thought it was stir fry at first glance, never would have guessed guac

I am reading your mind and you are right. It does.
Load More Replies...I snorted out loud, which nothing on this site has made me do yet. Thank you!
Load More Replies...In the US it’s called a ‘hot dog’ or wiener. Calling it a sausage is giving it an deeply undeserved upgrade. Hot dogs are some meat and meat scrap parts turned into slushy pink pulp with spices and then poured into casings to be cooked. They are only ‘sausages’ by very very loose definition.
Load More Replies...I love how this has no name - as it really is indescribable
Dissembled wrap with fried mushrooms and American ‘cheddar’? With PEPPER???
Load More Replies...Mushroom and cheese tortillas? Canned mushrooms and fake cheese, I have to agree. Nasty. But made with real cheese and fresh grilled mushrooms rolled up would be good. Dipped in cheese sauce or salsa. I’d add onion maybe and cilantro.
It's mushrooms and cheese. How bad can it be? Just needs to be cooked.
Mushrooms in tortilla are okay by me, but please at the very least, saute them with some sauce first or grill them at least.
done properly, i think has a potential to be very good, but slimy, nasty, canned mushrooms and a slice of processed cheese product is NOT it.
Those are the saddest/most bland looking mushrooms I have ever seen.
Indeed! They look like sliced tinned ones. I love mushrooms but would never eat them.
Load More Replies...Growing up in a multiple jobs household where feeding everyone wasn't a promise, this looks horrifyingly familiar
I wonder why canned mushrooms exist when you can buy fresh ones literally everywhere
And a generous helping of photoshop!
Load More Replies...This has to be for a gag in a YouTube video. I refuse to believe this actually exists.
This is actually not as bad as it sounds! It's quite common in the Netherlands. It's called "leverkaas" or literally, liver cheese. No clue why it's called "cheese" as there's no cheese in it at all!
We also have this in Germany (called Leberkäse). It is quite nice, doesn't really tastes like liver is only a minor ingredient (less than 5%, sometimes even no liver at all).
Load More Replies..."Leberkäse" here in Germany - there is no cheese in it though. It's quite common and associated with the bavarian kitchen here
this is common in my country, its called "cheese" but its just a liver pate
It's literally no liver or cheese but a loaf ( of meat) out of a cast. Leberkäse/ Labskaas became livercheese- but actually the origin of this dish means loafcast
With mayo, tomato, onion, and sweet pickles on white or rye bread.

I agree. It's like an orange julius. It's delicious. Put it in a blender with ice and get a ice creamsicle drink. I wish they sold it where I live.
Load More Replies...Orange Julius’ drinks are popular. Orange cream Ice cream like push up pops are delicious. My favorite icy from a stand combines orange, cherry and cream. This is little different from those. I might not drink it alone but it wouid be a great additive for deserts and certain drinks.
When my kids were very young, the eldest would watch the next one feeding and I used to tell them that one breast was for milk, and the other was for orange juice - they bought it for years.

Load More Replies...How is this an offensive food?? Wine cheeses have been around a long time.
Ok, hear me out, some of these can actually be DELISH. I had a blackberry-walnut goat cheese on thanksgiving and it was AMAZING.
I once got served Manchego cheese topped with a pinch of ground coffee and a dribble of honey. Totally recommend!
Load More Replies...Would try. Not as bad as a lot of the stuff here; it at least seems edible.
Might be good... There are a lot of things which go surprisingly well with cheese... Try a sharp cheddar with peanut butter
Why not? It's probably just the flavor, not actual gum. I've had bubblegum flavored fudge before. Recently had jelly donut flavored, too!
Not quite as bad, but also repulsive, is "clotted".
Load More Replies...You could just say jelly and not use a word that describes something disgusting.
There is a whole wide world of salad beyond those with lettuce, tomato and carrots. Pasta salad, tuna/chicken/ham salad, potato salad, etc. are all valid salads. This is from that realm of salads known as "Jello salad". They are usually good if you like things that are really sweet.
Load More Replies...I mean I personally don't like pineapple but I mean this looks fine and I would def eat this if I like pineapple.
Load More Replies...I'm not sure why this is here. It's a fairly common flavor. Have y'all never had pineapple cupcakes or pineapple upside down cake? Or if you've ever been to Disney they have a pineapple whip drink that is crazy popular.
Artificially flavoured sugar cookies - hmmm, that wouldn't actually be legal in many countries, or would be taxed to h*ll.
I think the main problem with this one is that those cookies are very dry and just turn into crumb dust when you bite into one.
But they taste so good! Haven't tried the pineapple but if I ever find a pack, I'm buying it.

Ahhh.... one of those crafty arty puzzles..... you have 30 seconds to find the bagel.
‘Everything Bagel’ refers to the spices on the meat. It’s a popular multi spice blend called —— Everything Bagel, or some variation thereof.
I like to sprinkle everything bagel seasoning on pickle slices for a snack, I wouldn't shame this food. We all have our little food quirks
Maybe uncommon in the US and europe, but in some parts of asia it's normal food
Chicken feet are served in a lot of asian restaurants in the US and even down south they have a version. They usually are fried a little more or have a thicker sauce on them than this...these look boiled or something. They look bland. And I'm not sure I'd put it on a salad as it can be a fussy food to eat. But it's not uncommon. You don't even want to see pig's feet.
Load More Replies...People eat chicken feet. Just because you don't like it doesn't mean someone else isn't allowed to enjoy it.
Chix feet, pigs feet etc. It's OK if you happen to like them.
Load More Replies...I would eat that. Preferably at home so I can gnaw at chicken feet shamelessly.
Common in South Africa too. Here the super markets sells both the head and feet in a pack, calling it Walkie Talkies.
1. there are bones so thats my only problem 2. i thought it meant human feet 2. i would eat that
Me too! But that ´crayola´ sign disturbing me in this case...
Load More Replies...Dried fruit is good. Several posts on this list don’t fit here. A lot of very picky eaters.
Just a bit of a cooking problem, the outside should be a bit browner but nothing wrong here if you ask for a blue steak.
Right. You need to heat properly before putting the steak on.
Load More Replies...What's the very first word that pops into your head when you see this ? Spleen.
I agree it could be browned a bit more. But rare steak is delicious. I order my steaks medium rare. And as Steak TarTar is a thing this steak isn’t really that unusual.
Grabbed it from the field, ran it through the kitchen, slapped it on the a**e and called it "done!"
Load More Replies...Humans have a very low stomach acid pH (meaning it’s very acidic), suggesting that scavenging used to be a regular part of our diet, like with vultures. Even so, rare steak is still not my jam.

Load More Replies...if made correctly ham salad is really good. This doesn't look like it was made correctly.
That's really good if made well. A local Amish community near me makes some great Ham "Salad".
I used to think ham salad was disgusting but my local grocer started carrying a version that is so freaking good. It has pickle and celery in it... I can eat it just right from the container. It's also 8 dollars a pound, it's crazy. But it totally changed my mind.

Load More Replies...If chocolate milk comes from brown cows and strawberry milk comes from pink cows, where does root beer milk comes from?

How in the hell does that even happen? I have enough trouble buttering my corn!
This reminds me of the Jenna Marbles video where she coudn't stop laughing about 'instead of a corn bone it's a hotdog'.
I grew up with ants on a log being peanut butter and raisins on celery...
I looked it up and it's orange soda, mango juice, and vanilla ice cream. You can add candy corn as a garnish.

This doesn't look bad. Candy corn is not orange flavored, so the theme is a little weird, but I would try it.

Wasabi peas are actually really good. Your breath will smell like a dumpster but totally worth it!
I do that too (edit) with a sunbutter version, I'm allergic to peanut butter. Sunbutter is much less sticky, and peels off very easily
Pineapple with cottage cheese is a thing. Since forever. Used to be a popular diet food.
The picture is the problem on this product. Pineapple and cottage cheese is awesome!! And a great snack if you are trying to lose weight. They just need to work on the photo.
I'm too scared to try cottage cheese. Someone please explain to me what this tastes like. Can you compare it to anything? I love cream cheese and I love sour cream. I like tapioca pudding. But this just looks like snot so I have a hard time with it.
It’s not for everyone, but it’s not “snot” in texture. It tastes more like straight milk to me than cheese, honestly. It’s soft, curd cheese - not particularly chewy. I used to like squishing the little curds with my tongue as a kid. Tastes better if you add something sweet to it, like fruit or applesauce.
Load More Replies...I started eating this in the last year. Quite delicious actually. That picture on the spoon doesn't look very appetizing though.
A scoop of cottage cheese on top of a pineapple ring. I grew up eating this and still love it.
No y’all for real pineapple in cottage cheese is *delicious*! You wouldn’t think so but it is.
We grew up eating pineapple with cottage cheese. Dad would serve the cottage cheese on a leaf of lettuce with a huge scoop of crushed pineapple on top. Yum.
They certainly look colourful. However when I get offered a cake/cookie/pastry my first question is "what flavour is it?" and "galaxy" is not a flavour. Nor is "red velvet" for that matter. When the dish's signature taste is food colouring you're doing it wrong.
This could be good... I've had the salted caramel and the red velvet and they were OK. I do still prefer the original though.
It's to get kids to sanitise their hands - if it works, don't knock it.
With these sweet smells my fingers would constantly feel phantom sticky.
Personally I've always thought so after a tapioca pearl went up my nose instead of down my throat but I think it's the canned part that is suppose to be offensive
Load More Replies...I've tried this brand and it's really good honestly. I tried the Matcha one and I will admit that it is very sweet though. I like it and I recommend trying it.
If you can cover a peanut with chocolate why can't you cover a nice crunchy chickpea with chocolate? This is probably delicious.
Same as rice puffs as well! It is very nice, chickpeas don't have a lot of taste by itself so it's just chocolate with a crispy centre.
Load More Replies...This might work with fried chickpeas but definitely not with boiled ones. Luckily, we have both where I come from so this sounds reasonable too.

I'm probably in the minority but I hate crinkle fries. In my opinion they are the worst fries. I don't like steak fries either for the same reason- it's like eating a mashed potato. They're too big. If I wanted a mashed potato I'd just make that. These look like they haven't even been cooked. There's no color on them. They look bland. I like my fries with a little color and seasoning. This just looks tragic.
The fries look severely undercooked. But frozen meals are generally unpleasant.

My girls and I tried this cereal because we love oatmeal creme pies and it was pretty good. We had it as a snack because it felt more like a sugary snack. We haven't bought it again though.
The only problem is the artificial flavored part. Maple syrup made with blueberries is good.
But not broccoli, cauliflower, brussel sprouts, onions, soup, salads, ...
Load More Replies...Not against it, but how the hell is it juicy but also dried? Aren't those two things mutually exclusive?
How can they be dried and soft and juicy at the same time? That bothers me. Dried and rehydrated in a package. Doesn’t sound appetizing.
The difference is how much water is removed. These are not dehydrated to 0%.

We call this sun dried tomatoes in Australia, but they are not dry, usually served in an oil in a glass jar. Gorgeous with salad and feta.
