That parking thing always stuck me as crazy. You want a parking spot by the entrance, so you don't have to walk a long ways to the entrance to walk in circles thru the mall.

The funniest thing I saw was a women who would jog to the gym to use the running machine, and then jog home!

Obesity cannot be transmitted by coughing near someone, and COVID killed millions in a very short time.

Or that fruit has sooo much sugar and therefore not good for you.

I tried the gym one year. I discovered it was nothing like shown in the movies , full of attractive thin young women and young fit macho men. It was mostly old, obese, out of shape people. I fit right in with the old part.

Everyone I know who has started a regular exercise routine found their mood improved tremendously. If I miss one day of swimming, I get irritable and The Blues returns.

here i am lifting the 20 dumbell, come to Germany and struggle. Turns out in the US it was 20 lbs, while in Germany..

I love working out at home. The weights are never being used by anyone, I can have a nice decent shower in private, and it's easier to find time in between other tasks because I don't have to travel there. And if I need company/encouragement, I put on a video of a gym youtuber.

I really need to try this. I'll try anything at this point.

One fitness center I briefly attended had a rusted piece of metal beam hanging by a thread of metal over the middle of the pool. The roof had obviously leaked at that spot. The manager refused to have it removed. I ended my membership pretty fast.

I asked our local triathlete what special food she eats for stamina and energy. I was expecting some exotic thing like kale smoothies with protein powder. She told me she eats a lot of peanut butter and jelly sandwiches.
