Bears know that sockeye salmon spawning season is the best time to go fishing! Lots of salmon in the river, they've turned red and are now easy to see, and they are swimming upstream so are remarkably easy to snatch out of the water!

Just for reference, if anyone doesn't know, this is a Victorian bicycle, first used in England in 1872. It's called the Penny-Farthing after the coins at the time, a farthing being a really small coin, and a penny, at the time, being much bigger. People fell off them a LOT, we don't generally still use them, but most people here learn about Victorians in school so I guess its a quirky thing we all come to know and love!

I was actually involved in a case like this once. There was an art gallery that was next to a parking lot. The lot was Not owned by the gallery, it was spaces you paid to use for the day while in town. The art gallery had a small loading dock and area behind it, but the only access was through the paid lot. Our client (we're land surveyors), bought the parking lot, determined that the owner of the art gallery was driving through it and parking his car behind the gallery. They talked to him, told him that they now owned the lot, were going to be developing it, and that he couldn't keep doing that. Art gallery owner ignored it, parked behind it, and the construction company put up a fence on the property line, fencing his car in.

Well lol my old coworker had a similar problem with his aftermarket car sound system lmao, the thing shorted out, and his first reaction was opening the zipper and pulling his little " fire hose " out ( no Im not kidding ) luckily our other coworker had a fire extinguisher in his car, put out the smoke ( there was no fire ) and the little " fire hose " was never used, xand thank God to that because i would Ride on his car sometimes.

Birds actually have most of the rods and cones clustered on the upper part of the eye, making it easier to see the ground while flying, which is why they told their heads to look at stuff, when perched, or on the ground. In contrast, small rodent animals have them clustered at the bottom of the eye, so they can see up better, helping to avoid predators.

I think I have seen this one years ago.... they were sitting in lawn chairs at the end of their driveway with tridents in their hands and got up and chased the van on its way by.... it's in Norway I think. One if the first trolls, its still funny!

Very likely "Homecoming" weekend for high school and the annual ritual of toilet papering. Has been going on for years and years. Used to "egg" houses and cars too but that could / would cause quite a bit of damage if not properly and quickly cleaned. I'm not sure if it's just a Wisconsin thing, but I can attest to the fact that it happens here, although I was never personally involved in the act of it. 😇

We had a tradition of toilet papering in my small town but if you got cought in the act then you had to clean it all up. There was one mother in our group who was a true legend at catching us attempting a papering. She always waited until we were almost done then came out to make us clean it all up. We never pulled one over on her and her son was the undesputed king of pranks. He had a few legendary ones that he always managed to pull off so well it made everyone laugh rather than get angry.

Very funny but some seem to weird to not be staged...then I Googled where's the Google Streetview Car and PAY DIRT! The actually do list on Google what area and time frame the car will be driving around.

My wife and I were looking at her parent's former house in Florida and made out a faint image of her dad coming out of the house inside the attached garage. He passed away in 2013, but it warms our heart every time we see it. The folks enjoyed a long, warm, happy retirement. (612 Balboa St, Sebastian FL)
