There are plenty of dishes that are sooo good with boiled kale. Here in the Netherlands we eat a lot of "boerenkoolstamppot": mashed potatoes with kale, mashed carrots, onions, gravy and (vegetarian) sausage. It's so delicious! I also really like pasta with kale, corn, boiled egg, fresh herbs and mayonaise (like a pasta salad).
If you cook it like collard greens with ham hocks or a smoked turkey leg it's delish. If you're vegan...well...you know...good luck with that.

My dog went on a hungry strike for better food. I now have to mix a little chicken in the kibble to get her to eat it. She picks around to get to the chicken and on good days she eats the kibble too. (before you complain, I bake the chicken with no spices added)
My dad started cooking chicken for the dogs and from then on they refused to eat anything that wasn't real meat. Eventually we stopped buying kibble or any kind of dog food. But on the upside, the vet said our dogs were exceptionally healthy.

Sticking To Your Goals
One cookie will not ruin months of exercise and dieting. If it does, then it wasn't just "one cookie". You've been sneaking whole packs of them for months.
This is the prime example of the BS that hinders and attempt to lose fat for many people. A single cookie here and there has basically zero influence on one's weight loss. Hell, a pizza one a week has no influence provided you will include that in your workout or other energy expenditure (because healthy weight loss means predominantly burning more, not eating less; you cut down on eating because at the start you won't have constitution to burn as much). At worst you'll achieve your goal a day later. This is still inconsequential, because losing weight means changing your eating and exercising habits _permanently_. You will not 'ruin' your fat loss plan unless you stop entirely or return you your earlier habits.
Diet Meme
Everything you eat forms a diet. That's why 'dieting' is another BS. 'Going on a diet' temporarily (as is most common) may make you lose fat, but if you then return to your previous lifestyle (i.e. the reason you were fat in the first place), you'll return to your previous shape in no time. To lose fat (not weight) you just need to change your exercise and eating habits reasonably and keep them permanently. In general, it is better to start with the change in exercise rather than changing diet (unless it is absymal), as better musculature and constitution is far more important for the general health that an excessive fat (even morbid obesity is problematic mostly because it hinders exercising).
