As a born and bred Englishman, it pains me to say that my homeland has given the world plenty of entertainment recently, and not in a good way. I am of course talking about our abysmal performance at Euro 2016. Oh yeah, and, you know, that whole Brexit thing...

Because of this, it's nice to find something aimed at the UK that a Brit can actually smile about. And Twitter account @britishreactions is that something. It's completely stereotypical, completely ridiculous and...well...completely accurate. More tea anybody?

As for me, just seeing someone put milk in tea at all makes me get that look. It's disgusting. Bleh.

That annoys me too especially when there is a tea bag and hot water in the cup as a tea pot isn't being used.

I'm an American, and a proud Texan. Down here in the south we only drink hot tea when we are sick and even then it's called a Hot Toddy....(you add honey and whiskey to the tea). The rest of the time we drink Iced Tea. Iced tea is a really BIG deal here. This idea of not putting the milk first here in Texas would apply to cereal or coffee.

Okay, this one had me laughing out loud. I've seen that reference somewhere before, maybe more than once, because I watch a lot of things English. But I'm still confused as to why it should matter. The milk and tea get all mixed up in the cup...and later in your stomach...whether it goes in first or last.

This is assuming, of course, that one is pouring already brewed tea from a proper teapot. (One lump or two?)

You're SUPPOSED to put the milk in first, so that it doesn't get scalded by the hot tea. This caption is backwards

Only if it's brewed in a teapot - if you brew it in the cup/mug with a tea bag the boiling water goes in first then the milk after about half a minute...

I was on a bus heading into Newcastle City Centre. Pressed the bell to get off. Then the bus suddenly stopped on the Central Motorway. Too embarrassed and polite to tell the driver I wanted the next stop, I got off anyway and even thanked him!
