I have long legs, like 36 inches of legs and so there are times I sit with my legs apart. It's comfy and no I am not inviting anyone in. But there are women and some men who constantly tell me that it's not lady like to sit like that. Fine, I will just wrap them around my head then haha
I love this because I can't stand stereotypes, you guys should use this too, when someone tells you, you aren't manly/masculine enough, or not straight enough, or gay enough or whatever other religious, racial, national and whatever stereotype
My brother tried to pull this one on me saying that something I said on Facebook was quite vulgar for a woman and that I should watch my language (comment about WBC.) I responded with "If you think you have the right to tell me what's acceptable for a woman to do or not do....then I present you with the reason you're still single and unmarried."

There are still great men out there that have common sense, but sadly many of those in power positions are not such. And true feminist isn't about giving women MORE rights, but having EQUAL rights. We don't hate on men, we hate on sexist misogynistic behavior. There are those who reject feminism and those who take it too far--neither of which are good. At the end of the day, we just need to be united and push for a better future for all regardless of sex, gender, sexuality, age, race, ethnicity, or any label.

@ Maria. BS on that! Women are more likely to be texting and driving. I've seen just as many girls with lead feet ripping through the streets of my town. And last I checked..guys weren't distracted with doing their make-up or fixing their hair before getting to their destination. Insurance companies need to start equalizing car insurance.
@Maria and @Lauri. total and unmitigated B.S. I have a perfect driving record- no infractions, no accidents, no claims except the occasional windshield crack and usage of roadside when I've had a tire out. Those are hard statistics that say I'm at least as safe a driver as you are. Probably safer.
Higher rates for young male drivers is based on statistical data, not your tiny little penis
A lot of the "statistics" for car insurance don't actually exist and are based more on bias and opinion. They've now made it illegal to discriminate with car insurance based on gender. That Australian company shiela's insurance or something used to have ads about being for women and they got around it, by saying we're for you if you drive like a girl.

The cost of insurance is based on how "dangerous" the insurance company thinks you are. Statistically, men tend to take more risks, speed more and have more accidents than women. That's why their insurance is more expensive. In the same way, a private health scheme will be more expensive if you are overweight or older than if if you are young and fit. Statistics again.
I agree. What we need is not feminism but egalitarianism to remove all harmful stereotypes. I may be anti feminist but that is because I do not agree with how they approach equality.

I literally wrote EQUAL in capital letters. Never did I say there aren't bad women either, there are bad people in every "group" you can think of. But this post highlighted misogyny specifically so I defended the good guys out there. Sorry if you think defending one thing means degrading the others, not my intention.

i see no "men hate." i see "asshole hate." still, it pales in comparison to millennia of women being literally considered property of one male or another, of being sold to the highest bidder in marriages where women were treated like baby-makers, of being beaten and abused, raped and murdered, of being imprisoned and executed for fighting back, of being denied basic human rights like autonomy, education, and the exercise of the right to say "no." ymmv. *shrugs*

Some of these remind me of an article on the advantages of "female" sex robots over prostitutes I read just recently. According to the author the robots were good for men who had made extremely (yes, they used this word) negative experiences with women - like getting rejected. .... Um. Yeah. That was the only example. Wow. And here I always thought getting lied to, hit, abused, mobbed etc by women were extremely negative experiences. But seems like I was wrong and the worst thing is being rejected. Explains a lot about some guys out there...
Well... maybe the guys were rejected on an epic level after doing something that needed an epic level of rejection to protect future women from the hidoesness of said males comments by shaming them to the point of never being able to speak to a woman. In which case, Yes- they should only be allowed contact with robots, as they clearly should not be allowed to address women.

When I play Fortnite and people hear me on voice chat, they act all surprised when they ask my gender and I answer that I'm a girl. Geez, people, Girls can play Fortnite too.
I was at school and I hear a teacher talking about how her daughter wants to get fortnite and that teacher acts like it’s the craziest thing that a girl wants to play video games,. Personally, I try to stay away from the voice chat due to my gender

Reading the comments 3 things are pretty clear to me: 1 - the word 'feminist' translates to man-hater to a LOT of people. 2 - BP seems to have a lot of incels. 3 - the division and generalisations of 'male' and 'female' makes people forget that everyone is a unique individual.
