I've been harassed once when I was a week from giving birth to my son. I had edema everywhere, a huuuuuge belly, and I was red from walking for an 1h (trying to get the labor to start). I was wrap in a coat Hell to big for me. I'm not sure this outfit would be 100% harassment-proofed

This was done to a bunch of construction workers that were known for catcalling women. They had a group of gay guys show up and start catcalling the construction workers. When the construction workers became angry at the unwanted attention, it finally donned on them why women find their behavior disgusting. I think every guy needs to go through this training. When I had just started to date my future hubby a male friend got his heart broken by a mutual 'friend'. I went to his house and he literally cried on my shoulder. There are still great men out there that have common sense, but sadly many of those in power positions are not such. And true feminist isn't about giving women MORE rights, but having EQUAL rights. We don't hate on men, we hate on sexist misogynistic behavior. There are those who reject feminism and those who take it too far--neither of which are good. At the end of the day, we just need to be united and push for a better future for all regardless of sex, gender, sexuality, age, race, ethnicity, or any label.

Okay just to put this out there, I am completely all for equality and just cause I do not identify with being a feminist it does not mean I am a bad person or a misogynist. Did anyone who made these 'memes' actually understand what Memes are in the first place. Do any single one of these people know what the special kind of hell a man can go through for maybe telling a joke or just laughing at a joke. Does anyone here understand how easy women get it off with being able to say they got raped the second they regretted they had sex, do you know what happens to a man who is accused of rape even if the accusation is false. Does anyone know how hard it is for a man to get custody over kids in a divorce, you basically need the wife to be in jail to get custody over your kids. I am an equalist. I don't know if that's a movement. I actually believe in a broad equality between all genders. I feel like while supporting some offshoots of the feminist , men's right movements, transgender rights, makes sense if you whole heartedly believe in equality assigning gender to your activism is counter productive if not entirely negating the very principle you are trying to espouse. Gender is as fluid as air. A woman isn't necessarily good with children. A man can become an incredible caregiver. I could write 101 examples. It's time that the gender warriors grow the funk up. It is 2018 and flashing your genitals and/or your anger isn't going to get you anywhere. But you might get a few upvotes, so there's that.

Some of these really has to do with the struggle of being a women, but I would say at least 1/3 of them are just regarding people in general, like don't be a controlling b******e. Women are every bit as capable (if not moreso) of being controlling buttholes.

No you are not allowed to point out that ANYTHING isn't funny... because being funny is a subjective concept. You are not so special that you get to dictate to the world what is or isn't funny. You can say "I don't find these funny"... to which the response is "good for you, go find something else that matches your taste in humor"

I am an equalist. I don't know if that's a movement. I actually believe in a broad equality between all genders. I feel like while supporting some offshoots of the feminist , men's right movements, transgender rights, makes sense if you whole heartedly believe in equality assigning gender to your activism is counter productive if not entirely negating the very principle you are trying to espouse. Gender is as fluid as air. A woman isn't necessarily good with children. A man can become an incredible caregiver. I could write 101 examples. It's time that the gender warriors grow the funk up. It is 2018 and flashing your genitals and/or your anger isn't going to get you anywhere. But you might get a few upvotes, so there's that.

Why do comments hating on men get tons of likes, then the ones who say something like “employment has gone up since trump has been president” are hidden? You shouldn't have to ask for respect, it should be given unless there is a reason to have it taken away. If I bump into you on the street, why shouldn't I respect you immediately? What did you do to earn my disrespect. Respect should be the default position. Disrespect should be earned.

Lol "nice guys" get so much hate because they are the exact opposite of "nice." They will start off with "oh don't worry, I'm a really nice guy and I'll be completely different from any guy you've ever met" and then flip a switch and turn into a monster. I've had several self proclaimed "nice guys" threaten to kill me because I either wouldn't put out or refused to stay in abusive relationships.
