Not just the USA. I was incredibly lucky to be in my late teens when the British government thought it was a good thing for people who could achieve it to have a university education. I didn’t pay any tuition fees for my first degree. Nonetheless, had to work part time jobs to pay for the roof over my head and food to eat. Nowadays your parents have to save for your education or you have to take out loans to cover the cost.

Same is happening in Australia.

Not just America, we have these exact problems in Ireland too, and elsewhere in Europe. Too many corporations holding on to profits instead of reducing costs/raising wages for their customers and workers.

@Lola July You are right there are other democrat and non-democrat billionaires who could solve it, they are awful people too. The reason Elon Musk is being brought up here specifically is because 1. He is not just rich, he is the richest and 2. He specifically said he would solve world hunger if given a plan that cost a given amount, and then didn't when one was proposed

How any educated person is unable to understand how humans need food, housing, clothes, medication... Not for fun but to live! Human rights like freedom of speech also, he could just have listened in school or ask a search engine
