Actor Fred Savage was once quoted as saying, “We all have a little dark side we keep under wraps.” While it literally doesn’t apply to everyone, many would agree that there is some appeal behind dark and macabre themes presented in a lighthearted way.

I was actually shocked to find out how expensive carts are. Grocery store I worked at in my teens wouldn’t let me throw out a janky old cart with a busted wheel that couldn’t be fixed because they were $600 each 😅 and that was 15 years ago.

I actually prefer having pets because when something goes bump in the night I can blame it on them 😅 before I got my cats I spent about a year without pets for the first time in my life and I didn’t realize how much noise my apartment makes (built in 1980s out of cardboard and sticks, it seems)

I hate that movie. Girl gets transported to an alternate dimension where she accidentally kills somebody, has the dead person's shoes given to her as a gift (like you do), teams up with some outcasts, and then kills again because everybody *else* describes the odd green woman as "wicked", while singing happy songs about her delusions, only to find out that the big benevolent wizard was actually a lie - yet she never thinks to question if the "wicked" witch was indeed wicked, or merely misunderstood and victimised for being different.

I avoid Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat etc. I’d delete my personal account if I didn’t need it for work (I do social media for two stores, ironically, and I’m quite good at it despite hating social media). But BoredPanda and TikTok give me all the memes I need to survive 😂
