Whether it happens on dating apps like Tinder, or social media platforms, some guys go to great lengths to approach women. While a few of them handle rejection gracefully and keep the respectful tone of the conversation, others show a sense of entitlement, while displaying their rude character, and come across as cringy.
One of the subreddits called r/cringepics, where people share some awkward images, also features some of the worst text messages which expose the spoiled personalities of some of the men. If you're curious to get an idea of what we are even talking about, you can read some of these interactions below.

We wanted to know what are some common red flags that indicate a man might become disrespectful or cringy when approaching a woman online. We were also wondering how women can identify and handle such situations. We found out that: “The first signs tend to be already present in dating profiles. Non-existent bios or demanding lists of requirements are your signs to swipe left. Emotionally mature men looking for a partner put thought and effort into their profiles.
Next, we have the opening messages. Offensive, overly sexual, or disrespectful messages are unlikely to improve over time. Especially if those messages are met with a boundaried response that gets disregarded. Disrespect for boundaries is always a red flag.”

I had something similar happen to me. Not quite as long a friendship but dude was married and they’d just had a baby and he had the gall to say to me “you know I have sexual fantasies about you”. I told him off and then blocked him. That was about 15 years ago and it still sucks because I thought we had a good friendship but he felt totally comfortable ruining it.

Ugh. Similar thing happened to me. I was drunk with the 3 AM sillies. I took a pic of me with my underwear on my head. I shared it. When I regained the ability to think. I asked him to delete it. He refused, so I snatched the phone from him and deleted any trace of that pic.
Marta told us more about suspicious behaviors that women should keep in mind: “Another telltale sign of questionable intentions is a generic first message that shows a lack of interest in the woman's profile. When I was a grocery cashier, I was in my 20s, and most of my coworkers were still in their teens. One night, I got a call at home from a number I didn't recognize. Apparently, one of my coworkers at the grocery store had given this guy my number, because this idiot claimed to my friend that he "lost" my number, so my friend gave it to him. hoesnearby = true is assignment, not testing equality and in some languages will always return true because the assignment worked. What he needed was: if (hoesnearby == true) or even just if (hoesnearby) as you can test a boolean value without needing to compare it to either true or false explicitly.
