That has happened to me several times. Although it's probably because I use my initials in papers and not my full name.

All teens like space sometimes! My parents never understood so now when my kid wants to just hang out in his room and watch YouTube I let him. As long as he does his chores, eats when I cook and socializes during special occasions it's all good.
