It's for BoredPangolin (I can't ser his/her reply button): you're completely wrong. when you buy airplanes and trains tickets It says the number of seat you've bought, brsides the luggage hoy can take, etc.

Uh, no - they absolutely do buy seats. They buy space on that transporter for transportation at a certain time to a certain place. And as a privately run service, that transporter can provide as much or as little adequate spots as they deem manageable and profitable. A larger person taking two of those seats is depriving the transporter of offering that seat to another passenger and thus making more of a profit - which is the whole reason the transporter exists in the first place. If Southwest was state run, I'd agree there is some gray - but as it is your logic is unfortunately quite flawed.

Why should a height/weight proportionate person be squashed and uncomfortable because someone who's obese refuses to buy an extra seat to accommodate their bulk? If the seats on a plane are too small, book an Amtrak, take a boat or drive. And BTW, I have chronic health issues that could cause me to gain weight but I CHOOSE not to and I have to work at it every day.

They do provide adequate seating, for the average size person. When you are that size, there are things you simply cannot do, and that's unfortunate. What if a person has anxiety, should they get an entire row to themselves so they aren't uncomfortable, but pay for one seat? Since they are only paying for "transportation."

Millennials Didn’t Just Destroy These 40 Industries, They Buried ’Em And Salted The Earth

Ate at Olive Garden recently after years (the only place I could find for a sit down meal). I will go hungry before I step foot in that microwave trap again. Horrendous. And the breadsticks...tasted like insulation. I LOVE to cook, so I know my way around a kitchen a bit, but d**n....I ate better food in the school cafeteria.

I’m never going to waste food if I can help it. The fact that people casually throw away half of a meal is crazy to me, especially when it’s at a restaurant where they paid a $100+ bill.

I assumed the story was going to be about her accidentally setting him on fire because they were standing next to a barbecue and she pushed him or she threw a match at him and his clothes caught fire… anything but purposely going into the garage and pouring gasoline over him then purposely setting him on fire.

I met the author of the book! She was really nice. I remember her telling us kids she would not be signing any pieces of paper, just books. Because when she did sign pieces of paper, she said, afterwards the floor would be covered in bits of paper with her signature on it. She told us how she came up with the idea for the story, too! God I loved going to author talks as a kid. I got to meet all the greats of Australian children's fiction.

That's not historically correct for the times, or true to the book. Quit changing books to fit your "woke" sensibilities people! It's every bit as bad as burning books just because you don't agree with them. Write your own stories if you want a different style, but stop mangling literature. Simply don't read it or put it on the screen if you don't like it the way it is.
