People who work with sound , use their ears! You don't see their ears working. Sound engineers don't do much physically during shows because they are listening...intently. Which brings me onto listening. People who work in music listen to music in a far deeper and technical way than the average Jo!daiwilly reply

There is no such thing as not having an accent. Every human who speaks has an accent. And there is no such thing as a “neutral accent”.Canadian47 reply
Correlation is not causation. Just because 2 things change together doesn't mean one causes the other. For example ice creams sales and drowning deaths are correlated. It could mean possibly 1) eating ice cream cause people to drown 2) when people drown the survivors eat ice cream to make themselves feel better 3) both happen more often in the summer time 4+)...other possibilities. This is used ALL the time when trying to push anti-science agendas.Actually_zoohiggle reply
Vaccines don’t cause autism. Vaccines don’t put a protective bubble around you guaranteeing you will never fall ill again. Vaccines don’t contain microchips and nanobots. Vaccines DO lessen the severity of infectious disease and shorten the length of illness. Vaccines prime your immune system to fight the disease using its natural functions. Vaccines require over 95% coverage in the population to protect vulnerable people who can’t be vaccinated. Vaccines save lives. Get your flu shot.2074red2074 reply
Humans didn't evolve from chimpanzees. Chimpanzees are our nearest living relative species. Humans and chimpanzees both evolved from the same ancient species, which no longer exists in that form but does still exist in the form of humans and chimpanzees. The fact that chimpanzees still exist does not disprove that humans evolved from other apes.Show All 9 Upvotes

Hey Pandas, What’s Your Funniest Nightmare?
I was on a motorcycle, in the middle of nowhere, when it turned into a motor home. My dog was driving, in sunglasses, with false teeth in. My dad was in clothes he would never wear ( think Hawaiian shirt, shorts 3x too big, socks and flip flops) and really long hair. My boss appears out of the wardrobe in similar attire, with a pair of scissors, and mangles my dads hair. We are in an Asda car park, the street lamps go off, and I am now on a boat, about to hit a buoy. ( that nearly happened in real life though) I woke up. CRAZY DREAM 😂Hey Pandas, What's A Real Glitch-In-The-Matrix Moment You Had?
My orchestra class had a small (optional) gig for st. Patrick’s day a few years back that I went too. It was a little windy and one of my pieces blew off my stand and landed in a puddle. Frustrating, but I mostly had the song memorized anyways so I shoved it into a pocket in my case and went on with the performance. Later that night I was sorting through my folder and I find another copy of that song. The weird thing is, it was exactly the same as the one that blew into the puddle earlier. Same markings, same everything. I even pulled out the wet copy to compare. It wasn’t photo copied because I was able to erase the writing on both. It was so weird.Show All 22 Upvotes
