I use this program to create character portraits for my writing/D&D characters.

I thought many of these looked like Instagram versions of the actual celebrity... but this is 20 minutes of my life I will never get back =o/

I don't really understand what this technology is doing or how it works, but if it's capable of sourcing a bunch of pictures of the celebrity, then how come it can't produce something that really looks like them? But maybe I'm just not getting it!

It's almost like it shows what their inner child or their "soul" if you will. Some who I imagine are just silly through and through their AI depiction looks like a funny character caricature, some of those who have seemed kind of fake to me look even more so on in their AI depictions- even those who have come across to me as being a bit twisted, or seem to have something haunting behind their eyes- look so in their depictions. It obviously pulls image formatting from a search of online names and common associations. There is no way this many celebrities popped up unless they were hitting the random button till they got a similar look.
