Artist Shows Which Disney Characters Your Favorite Celebrities Should Be (26 Pics)
Ukraine-born artist Helen Morgun gave us a cool drawing series we didn't know we needed. She reimagined our beloved famous people as Disney characters. Helen has been working on the drawing ideas for quite some time now, and the unexpected mashups have been taking the internet by storm.
From Emma Stone as Merida to Billie Eilish as Kida Nedakh, Helen definitely gave Hollywood some ideas to consider. It's clear that the artist carefully studies not only the physical features but personalities of each famous person before "assigning" them their animated character alter-egos. Scroll down, upvote your favorite famous characters and let us know in the comments what you think of the series.

Tom Hiddleston As Hades
You know Loki and Hades are probably really good friends. They also both have a blue-y skin tone
Nice. But since Marvel is already owned by Disney, doesn't that make Tom Hiddleston's version of Loki already a "Disney" character??
"I've been in love with Disney since childhood," Helen told Bored Panda. "Over the years, I've collected wonderful memories of Disney cartoons and characters. And the amazing thing is that they continue to surprise me.
"The artist said that she started this series with the drawing of Rachel McAdams, "I painted her as Cinderella. I really love this popular actress and it always seemed to me that she would be very suitable for this role. After completing the portrait, I decided that it was possible to make a series of drawings with different famous people as Disney characters and began to look for similarities. My followers liked the idea as well."
Rihanna As Tiana
"I started doing polls in my Instagram stories where people would choose from two famous people as candidates for a new Disney character. It's fun."
Even though Helen has been working on this project for quite some time, she plans to continue it. "As I've said, I have a lot of followers who really like this series. I myself really like to transform real-life stars into these famous characters. It's like a little adventure every time."
"I'm glad that these drawings have attracted the attention of so many people, and I want to say thanks to all of those who supported me and my work. It's very motivating to realize that your work resonates with people."
Lena Headey As Evil Queen From Snow White
What we should have gotten for the upcoming Live action cast of Snow White
Elizabeth Olsen As Jane
Emma Stone As Merida
You know the point of actors is to act... Dustin Hoffman isn't autistic in IRL...
Load More Replies...I agree with SilverLining she is scottish and she's a red headed!!! Obvious choice!
Eva Green As Maleficent
I liked Angelina Jolie's version, but Eva is so great at playing villains. I'd love to see what she could do with the part.
Lady Gaga As Ursula From Little Mermaid
No sauared. Rebel Wilson uses that evil persona. Gaga is a love.
Load More Replies...Lady Gaga, while a beautiful human, is way too petite to pull off Ursula.
@Megan O’keefe not really, I’m Yupik this is how I normally talk .-. Also, why are you TRYING to make fun of someone for their grammar .-. Kind of a weak topic to make fun of someone...
Load More Replies...Amanda Seyfried As Rapunzel
Maybe the evil witch 😂😂. Cuz seriously, look at the photo 😂😂😂 she does not look like a princess.
Not the Grim brothers version though. The British one about the ghost in the tower, that could only walk on her hair. Where ever it was in life. What was the story, Toothfairy.
Lucy Hale As Mavis Dracula
Megan Fox As Megara
Lucy Liu As Mulan
She can't be the only talented actress with an asian background in Hollywood right? Like Akwafina, Who recently got a golden globe nomination.
No. An awesome actress like her shouldn't have to be in that bombshell.
Load More Replies...I think Lucy looks amazing, and would be a great Mulan!! Really good matchup!!
Lucy possesses characteristics of Milan. Intelligent and beautiful while not relying on her beauty. A force to be with.
She is a decent actor no doubt but she should NEVER be typecast as any Chinese character. If you speak Chinese or is rooted in Chinese culture, you'd know how badly she bombed her character in Shanghai Noon. Her playing a Chinese character is second only to John Wayne's Gengis Khan. There are plenty of more fitting actors who can fill the role of Mulan.
She was awesome in kill bill (not sure what nationality was to be presented there, but she was right fit)
Load More Replies...Salma Hayek As Mother Gothel
I didn't know how much I wanted that until just now.....
Load More Replies...Cher would be amazing! I thought it looked like her the first time I saw it. Face shape is perfect.
Blake Lively As Aurora
Mila Kunis As Esmeralda
As beautiful a women Ms. Bellucci is, she may be a bit too old.
Load More Replies...hmmm. You have to be more a woman kind of woman to be Esmerelda. Mila plays young and sounds young.
She's not roma far as i know, so why would this be more okay than all the other "race" swaps?
Margot Robbie As Elsa
Lili Reinhart much better. Elsa looks fresh and perfect and so does she.
it would look very sexualized for a cartoon... not saying it's different now ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Emilia Clarke As Belle
Billie Eilish As Kida Nedakh
I agree, this one could've been better. Personally I don't like race-bending neither. A white haired Shay Mitchell would've been great, or maybe Rosario Dawson.
Load More Replies...Lily Collins As Snow White
She actually did play Snow White in Mirror Mirror. It was a fun movie.
Mandy Baxter in season 3 (short hair and I think she got a nose job that looks good by then) on last man standing.
Lili Reinhart As Alice In Wonderland
Aww! I love the Cheshire cat in that photo. He's so cute!!!!
Emma Stone As Cruella De Vil
Emma Stone already is going to be playing the new Cruella De Ville....
This may sound odd, but I used to know a lady who reminded me of Cruella DeVil: salt and pepper grey hair, tall, lanky, angular...She wasn't nasty, though. :)
My bestfriend's aunt reminds me of Cruella DeVil because she has her hair short and on one side it's black and the other its white. But she isn't nasty either
Load More Replies...wow, everyone is just commenting on who they'd rather have. this art is amazing!
Selena Gomez As Moana
She doesn't have a Hawaiian face. Not trying to be racist, it's just a look
Actually Moana is more New Zealand based, I'd guess, since her name is Maori for "ocean".
Load More Replies...Selena is part islander. I would actually see her playing this part though, I would like to see more new island actresses in this role. Staying true to the roots is best to stay authentic.
Selena is part islander. I actually could see her paying this part though I am not much of a fan. I wouldn't mind seeing new island actresses featured though.
Leigh-Anne Pinnock As Pocahontas
Why not one of the many Native actresses like Irene Bedard or Q'orianka Kilcher?
Probably because the author decided to go with this one. Just guessing.
Load More Replies...This and every picture is the perfect mashup. We need to bring in some positivity
Oh, FFS! All anyone here is doing is "but what about..." The artist chose these people, and there's nothing wrong with who they chose. It was their vision. If you so "can't see it" despite it being right in front of you, why don't you do it yourself?
A Native Actress is best for this role. I am not familiar with this person so if she is Native, then okay.
What up with the trolling? This is just one artist opinion. Calm down :P
Load More Replies...Camila Cabello As Jasmine
Camila Cabello is Latin. Look for an Eastern actress, please...
Alyssa Milano As Ariel
The Disney one maybe, but little mermaid is an old story. Without it's original ending it also loses the moral of the whole story, to appreciate what you have and not assume the grass is always greener etc
Load More Replies...Ariel's an early teenager. Alyssa Milano could play Megara.
Sophie Turner As Ariel
Leo i would like to see you do any better because that is an amazingly drawn face and at a very hard to draw angle
Random Panda, you have a point, but Leo has negatively criticized just about every image on here.
Wow, I hope you are an artist, because you have commented pretty negatively on all the person's art that they seemed to have put a lot of effort into.
Leo is very rude, but you don't have to be an artist to criticize art. I say this as an artist myself.
Load More Replies...Neither do any of the other actors look like their chosen characters
Load More Replies...Amber Heard As Alice In Wonderland
NO. AMBER HEARD DOESN'T DESERVE ANY OTHER ROLE IN HOLLYWOOD. #JUSTICEFORJOHNNYDEPP
That's a hard pass, if not something predictable. Great talent. These are wonderful.
I wonder why almost exclusively we see only women portrayed. I would've been curious about male characters too, because there are some, right?
Because that's who the artist chose. They came up with the idea and executed it, and they chose these.
Load More Replies...race bending IS NOT okay!! moana is NOT white and neither is Jasmine. please stop
Thanks for Tom Hiddleston, but the rest were rehashes of Disney's rehashed stereotypical female leads.
They sucked us in with the only male character then just got worse and worse
Load More Replies...So you want the white girl to play Polynesian, the black girl to play a Native American and the Latino to play Middle Eastern ... yep sounds like Hollywood to me
Selena gomez is Hispanic/Latina but I get your point
Load More Replies...My only real issue with these, is the number of 30 or 40 something people they're attempting to show as characters who are in their teens in their stories...
Nice.. But some cultural diversity lije a German actress as snow white or a French one for Belle would have been nice.
Good point. Lea Seydoux for example was great in the French version of Beauty and the Beast, though she doesn't look like the Disney character at all. Audrey Tautou could make a good Disney!Belle.
