A couple of years ago, at the height of the notorious 'dad bod' craze, people started to realize that Drake was ripped. He had been training for over three years, but the world only noticed when his Instagram page suddenly started heating up. Of course, like most other things, Drake has turned into a trend, and his followers flocked to gyms around the world on a body transformation quest to get 'swoll' like Champagne Papi.

Now, this is not to say that everyone who takes the benefits of exercise seriously these days is doing it because of Drake, but it's clear that 'making gains' is back in style, and people are going from skinny to shredded faster than half of us can blink. If it's done right, building muscle mass can actually give a lot of health benefits - prolong your lifespan and improve cardiovascular and bone health - as well as increase your chances of people sliding in the DM. Faster isn't always better, though. Each person inherits different strengths and weaknesses from the gene pool, so it's important to take your time and found out what gym workout is best for your unique body. To dispel that last little thought in your head, no - steroids are never a good option unless you want to add the increased risk of heart disease and stroke to your exercise routine.

Here at Bored Panda, we decided to compile a list of people who bulked up big-time and barely look like the same people in their 'before' photos, from women fitness maniacs to guys who have managed to get ripped using no exercise equipment at all. We've also included the timespan of their progress, but keep in mind that everyone builds at a different pace!

    Please stop telling people they can achieve this result in such a short amount of time, unless you want to suggest the use of illegal (and dangerous) stuff. This will demotivate anyone that will try to improve their body when facing the harsh reality: gaining mass in a natural way requires A LOT of time.

    this one, is maybe the only one that can be done. The guy had no fat at all. The only thing he had to do, is eat loooots of quality food and train a lot. I don´t think that steroids were essentials for him.

    I’ve done 20 lbs in under 4 months maintaining my bodyfat. Have gone from 170 to 190lbs maintaining a 12% bodyfat. Using large amounts of protein 3500 calories a day training 4-5 times a week and taking protein shakes with creatine daily. Also eating testosterone boosting foods. This is the initial gain though and I know I’m plateauing now

    Being someone who both gains and loses considerable muscle mass in short periods of time, this is highly doable for that body type without chemical means.

    That’s steroids or other supplements. Claiming it not to be is dangerous and misleading. Even in the most genetically fit only around four pounds of leanudcle is possible, this looks like he gained at least 20 or more pounds of lean mass and not much fat at all, which lean gains are even slower than ones where people gain body fat with surplus calories as well.

    Brother let them hate bc I did this with 3 months of pain and discipline and no days off every night at 3 am these cowards who hate and think this is fake get hurt bc they give up alot when trying to workout or they do it and give up on there diet and protein and heavy lifting so trust this is real and I did this with experience. So get hurt, but hurt, or even bs to people and make them lazy like you but this is possible and it is painful to see the disrespect of real men and women who make transformations like this one happen get hated on and told they are lying.     This is actually well documented this was done in a short amount of time with a program called Freeletics which I am also apart off. I have had similar results well in 6 months. Dont go on discrediting other peoples hard work without knowing the effort and pain theyve gone and put in, just because you can't.

    Just to let you know, the one on the left and one on the right are different people. They are the twins and worked out together for five month. The one on the left did not become the one on the right, but achieved some muscle gain definitely. This was just the youtube thumbnail to fish people for view to show the dramatic change which did not actually happened. The one on the right had been working out before the shoot too. If you see the youtube, you can both of them.,

    This one looks photoshopped around neck and shoulders. Area around adam's apple looks smaller/thinner than on the right. There is no fat to burn or muscle to gain in that area. I don't doubt that this guy improved himself, but the picture on the left looks a bit "worked on". Just IMHO

    My parents said the same to me when I started at a military school. I saw them after 3 or 4 months, and they both froze. My Mom started poking at me because my baby fat had disappeared and I had toned up.

    This transformation is very misleading, and maybe even fake. I started off very similar to this guy. No fat, but also no muscle. Ever since I stepped into the gym, I did as much as I could to learn how to maximise my gains. And I did it. No alcohol, tracked my calories, ate protein, slept well, maintained proper form, lifted the right amount of sets, etc... I made MASSIVE progress. But regardless of this, it still took me 9 MONTHS to make a transformation that looked anything close to what you see here. It might just be because he had a good build to begin with, but making this sort of progress is almost IMPOSSIBLE without steroids or other performance-enhancing drugs.

    Quite frankly, I like the body on the left. There is absolutely nothing that needs to change. We don't need to see a quick body change to make our life more satisfying. Just what will you do with all those added muscles. What's in your head is reality. If you plan on posing everytime you hop into bed that may be your goal, but I bet the individual that you hop into bed with is looking for something more.

    It is very doable, but maybe not realistic for most people. It helps when you already have some muscle and fairly lean. Also easier to accomplish as a young man, great genetics and a high metabolism. But you can’t expect these kind of results from someone very out of shape who just works out 30-45 mins 3-5x a week. It would need to become practically a full time job to get to the final photo. It would involve eating many times a day, probably between 6-8 meals (you’re in a constant state of food prepping, cooking and eating) and completing several sessions of weight training/cardio/hiit and core per day. Basically, your day is focused almost completely on fitness and nutrition and then sleep and rest and recovery. If you have a demanding full time job, a family, or other work and social obligations - it would be almost impossible to get results that fast. Wish everyone luck in their transformations - stay consistent and take it one day at a time. Even if takes 1-3 years!

    It doesn't say 15kg of muscle guys. He made good progress. Why the negativity in so many of these posts? There's probably only 2..maybe 3 at the most who used PED. These are all naturally attainable in the times displayed lol. A lot of you negative posters don't get these results all because of the exact mindset you's are displaying in your posts haha.
