Some assholes do that deliberately, they don't want any other cars getting too close and maybe scratching the paintwork. That's far more important than other people's need to park!

Prior to the ubiquitous growth of e-vehicles, it's easy enough to move to the side when you hear one coming behind you. At the same time, I've also encountered people who will *scream* at you if you go within a nanomillimeter of their parked car, with or without a trolley, so walking in the middle then makes sense. Combine the two and you can get people of a certain age who are not quick on their feet attempting to move out of the way because they'll be screamed at by the parked car owners and honked at by the drivers and it's no wonder so many older people no longer give a flying Frick.

Why would anyone think it’s acceptable to do that? I’m genuinely confused how someone can be that rude.

Had to do this too so left a very rude note for them. They came back as I was driving off so they got a good earful too. Cretins

I’ve had to do this myself. Once I came back to find the guy sitting in his car next to mine, far too close for me to get in it. I politely asked if he could move, so I can get in my car, but he wanted to fight and fuss about it instead, even though he was on the wrong. Finally I just said that I was too tired to fight about it, and I and just wanna get in my car, and I can’t. He moved.

one day I printed some paper adhesives, in letter dimensions, with a very tacky glue. obviously sticked on the windscreen center of a mor*on who don't care of other drivers, with these words in capital letter: "if you f*ck as parking, I understand why you are a cuckold". and now unglue it!

what I always do is open the door and *accidentally* scratch the car. Maybe the people with put 2 and 2 braincells together and realize what white lines are for.

To be fair, BOTH cars are too close to the white line. so either the parking spaces are just WAY too small (something that pisses me off to no end...) or really they are both at fault here...

In one parking lot in Delft I had to park not straight (can't remember the right word). I was pregnant and couldn't get out of the car if I parked straight. But I am an asshole now who always tries to park in the middle between me lines, even (especially?) If the car next to me would be having die difficulties getting in...

I had to leave my car over the lines once in a hospital parking lot since the 2 cars next to me did and there was no other spot, I had circled for 20 minutes and didnt want to be late for my ultrasound with my overly full bladder. When I came back I had a nasty note on my windshield.

This is why I love driving an old banger, I'd just whack my door into theirs a few times, no skin off my nose ;)

Are in America shopping carts free? In Slovenia we have to put 1e or 50c or 2e in to get it (we get the money back when we return the shopping cart to its home) or well the stores sometimes have these coins with their logo on which can be used to borrow shopping carts
