Asian photographer Qozop addresses the role of clothing in our society through a clever and playful juxtaposition of two generations. Participating youths and elders (parents and children or grandparents and grandchildren) are photographed in their attire and then asked to swap clothing and pose again. The series of diptych shots easily reveals a shift from ethnic and traditional dress to the more contemporary fashion style which has been a craze lately in Asian cultures.

That’s exactly what the kids in this pot represent – they’re the most fashionable kids on the playground. You have to wonder, though – who’s having more fun here, the kids or the parents? The kids look fresh from head to toe, but in most cases, their parents had to have helped them choose their clothing. Some of the children look a bit strange dressed as adults, but others definitely look downright adorable.
Fashion and the Internet have collided spectacularly in this series of awesome embroidered cat shirts by Japanese embroidery artist Hiroko Kubota. The cute kitties, embroidered with great skill and detail, are an unexpected and interesting manifestation of the Internet’s obsession with cats. Sydney-based artist Alex Seton creates these super-realistic sculptures of our everyday clothes – from cozy hooded sweatshirts to soft-looking t-shirts and sports costumes – from solid marble. It’s really incredible how the artist can take a piece of cold, solid material and turn it into warm- and comfy-looking fabric with subtle folds and creases.

A Dutch artist named Sander Reijgers is recycling inflatable sex dolls into the most bizarre clothing. Perfect for a rainy weather, these waterproof hoodies were made by customizing existing tracksuit tops with heads, breasts and other pieces from 50 blow-up dolls that Sanders received from a “sponsor”.
