You Will be even more disappointed when you understand that China wants the world weakened focussing on Ukraine so that they can have a clear run at invading Taiwan. They are waiting for the right moment to strike right now and have been for many months.

We should be worried about Taiwan. China has had its eyes on her for a very long time now and when Putin initially invaded they tested the waters as well. I think if Putin's invasion went well China would have tried something similar with Taiwan.

China has always played the long game. They were getting their butt kicked by Britain in the opium wars. To end British aggression and to slow/stop their advance, they leased Hong Kong for 99 years. Unlike most of the world, it didn't become a permanent part of their empire. China got Western development in an area they could still isolate so they minimized the bad parts and maxed the good. After 99 years, they had a major city with no investment or loss. When the Mongols conquered China and formed the Yuan dynasty, they were forced by the bureaucracy to Chinese ways to govern which happened in no other conquered land because the conquered people took the long view. The Ming eventually replaced the Yuan by emphasizing the competitive exams the Chinese are famous for and getting the support of the people who then fought for them. This is winning by promising people they may not do any better but your children and grandchildren will do better.

Why you aren't paying attention. China and russia don't want this new world order that is being forces upon the world. And they support each other I mean come on it is highly likely that they assisted or solely released COVID. I don't support anyone as for me and my family we support no governments and from now on we are only going worry about us.

There isn't a neutral position. You support democracy or you try to kill it.

This is naive thinking...China has,and are constructing artificial islands in the South China Sea for the past 20 or so years....and it is not because they need new beach-resorts...They have a huge boulder in their shoes and has never accepted Taiwans independance....They are just abiding their time.They are silently watching the Russians and when the time is right they will pounce.....

Why does Putin think Belarus entering the fray makes his point stronger? Everyone has been in agreement that Belarus is ran by a dictator for forever and a day. No one thinks any differently, so no one is going to buy the "liberation" side of Putin's plan when you're main ally is straight up, out in front, obviously, publicly a dictator. I mean Belarus barely even tries to lie about it.
