I didn't expect to tear up so quickly in this post- but seeing someone run to the dog they thought they lost... oh my heart.

Sweetie looks like she knows this is one of the last times she'll be enjoying the sunshine, so full of nostalgia.

It's always too fast. Every parent understands it with a bit of proud and sadness. Pure beauty.

So happy they get to be together!! Separating them when they've bonded is too sad.

The AKC advises that Huskies have a very strong prey drive and should be supervised around *any* small animals. The sight of a small prey animal running can often kick in their natural instinct to chase, and eat, their prey. Huskies were bred to survive in harsh conditions. Exercise caution. Just because your Husky is your furkid doesn't make them perfect.

Yeah. It might work right now. But I wouldn't trust that it will always work.

Our cat had kittens when we had a husky. He would lie down and let the tiny ones walk all over him.

Huskies and Malamutes tend to have really good temperaments. They're almost always good with cats... Small prey animals though they will go after.

Did you meow ? I noticed that's how they try to understand what's wrong if a human meows or do other questionable acts.

Boomer should be proud! They should do this at shelters to help the pets get adopted.

it's a common practice to raise cheetah cubs with puppies as playmates. I think I heard that they do the same with race horse and goats.

"Shame on you"?? Seems a bit much don't you think? Maybe the pup is a service dog and is in it's full right to be there?? I think I'm just going to enjoy the picture and leave it up to you to place shame on people...

Yes, Americans are weird but they clearly love the dog (fluffy bed and numerous toys as evidence).

Poor dolphin locked in a tiny pool. Your dog was probably an interesting distraction.
