Favourite trashman!!! My daughter used to love the bin men, she always used to shout 'Well done great job!!' out the window at them.

You know how some people you can just tell are super nice? This man has one of those faces.

My kid used to do the same thing every Monday when he was a toddler. He was obsessed with trucks. The drivers always made sure to wave to him or beep the horn. It made his day every time. :)

That is so incredibly sweet. The men and women who provide many of our essentials services need more recognition. I am sure this sweet little girl made this man's day!

Maintenance men, trash guys... these people are priceless.

Love this! When I was little I used to do the same thing ♥️ also loved having my lunch with the builders next door. One day I came home early, my Mum asked if everything was ok, I said “yeah, the f@cking bricks haven’t arrived “ 😁 Another lovely story to share is, when we were in lockdown , my husband prepared pizzas for our garbagemen every Friday at 7am. They would have pizza and our wine , they had worked throughout the night. Our boys would eat their cereal etc. and watch in fascination. Later I would hear our boys telling the teachers & classmates all about it. It was such a highlight for us all, being in lockdown and all.

As a kid I would make Kool Aid and stand out front with it and give it to them.

What a caring child! I had a favorite Trashman once & at Christmas one year, I left a Christmas card for him on my dumpster thanking him for his service; because like postmen, "neither snow, rain or ICE" kept him from his rounds! He took the time to come to my door to thank me & I said, "Would you like a hug"? (I was 78 y/o) & he replied, "Oh, ma'am I'm all dirty". I said, "Yes you are from doing such a great job! Come here"! That hug was the best present that I gave that year....

That's actually a very sweet idea! Outside of work, the only human interaction I get is when I go to the shops, which is only once a week. Sometimes it's just nice to hear people chat, maybe even contribute a line or two.
