It's no secret that our society has its flaws - dependence on technology, taxes, obesity, devaluation of workers - to name a few. Some people may not even want to think about any of these problems in society but illustrator John Holcroft, on the other hand, he looks them straight in the eye and depicts them in a satirical way.

Though not all of us have to deal with such problems, it is a great reminder to pace yourself and to familiarize with the society today. Who knows, it might make you a better person in some way.

With a style based on 50's advertisements and a vintage feel - Holcroft perfectly captures today's social issues and modern behavior. Also, his illustrations do so in a brutally honest manner. Keep on scrolling to check them out, and you just might realize with what social media problems you have to deal every day.

I have it on good authority that the third person from the top identifies as a woman, and the person with glasses thinks gender is merely a social construct! I hope you are ashamed of yourself for making unfunded assumptions!!!

& it's usually the person on top who is at fault. We once had a receptionist get fired for "failing to migrate" the report on funds every night. She always did it & evwn had screen shots. No one listened because the real problem was that the servers wer 10 years old & the medical director would rathe fire someone than spend more money.

I think this one represents paying rent, we all know that is a huge waste of money. Paying a mortgage on a home is an investment, when you sell you get your money back and more...this picture is shredding money, meaning it's not coming back to you in a usable fashion.
