Even if people literally are servants they should still be treated with decency.

I have been saying this forever. All those college graduates with no actual retail experience making decisions for the employees should be a no-go. To understand your company you need to have the employees experience of it.

I don't think you should be legally able to be the CEO of a company unless you started at a low level position in the company, that's how the military works and it runs much better than any company

I worked for a printing company that had any new managers, administration, client services/sales spend the first couple of weeks of orientation working every position in the production line. That gave them a better understanding of the process, work environment and got along better with the workers. The company at the time was employee owned, so they had a strong motivation to make sure the new people knew what they were doing and they were a good fit for the company. And then, they became a corporation and stopped doing that. They don't exist anymore.

I don't even know why, people don't count that there are many CEO who started from the bottom position and reached there, and many at the bottom position today will be the future CEO's, sitting in the lowest position is not always the answer.

Not im USA. The self made perdon is a myth snd upward mobiloty in USA hardly ever occurs. CEO go to private schools, expensive colleges and rarely start in lowly positions.

I think that's why "anglos" sometimes seem to be so closed minded. Many English, Americans, Australians, don't need to or choose to learn another language, and just can't see past one way of thinking. It's not universal, nor is it unique, but it's common.

37 Things Worth Experiencing At Least Once In Your Life For those in the US, I think everyone should serve on a jury at least once I know that a lot of people try to get out of it, but it's important to see how the justice system actually operates even for cases that don't seem all that impactful- Going to trial does impact people. And people need to see that most cases are not like an episode of Perry Mason. And they need to see how a disparate group has to work together to reach a consensus, if it comes down to that. (I served on 3 so far, once as an alternate, so I wasn't included in deliberations, and 2 struck deals before it got that far. But I learned a lot.

Not sure about this one. Yes, try out new things, but if something is really way out of your comfort zone, what is the benefit? Being able to live through the anxiety before you do it and then just being happy to have it over with? I might as well go to the dentist then.

I do not want my mind to be reset. You don't know what you're going to end up with on the other side. Too many people (yes, I know it's still very rare, but...) have been mind-changed in ways that have left them truly damaged.
