Disney movies are an inseparable part of many of our childhoods and adulthoods - their enchanting tales and whimsical characters have been the one constant we could always rely on. However, once we found this Reddit thread where people discuss the most disturbing Disney movie theories, it literally peeled back the layers of childhood innocence, revealing stuff we wish we could unread. So, although these theories about Disney movies are definitely a captivating read, be warned, for your imagination might be stirred!
Now, the Redditors on this thread did not hold back with their Disney movie conspiracy theories, not the slightest bit! Some of their stories got us laughing (like in a good way), while others proved to be absolutely terrifying. Not to spoil too much, but just to give you a taste of what’s to come, here’s a pretty neutral fan theory called the “Tarzan and Frozen Connection,” where people theorized that Tarzan is a full brother to Frozen’s Anna and Elsa. And that’s a pretty neutral story, shock value-wise!
You know, and even though you can treat these Disney theories purely as a form of amusement, they also show the duality of Disney’s storytelling, where each story isn’t as straightforward as you thought it was. However, if not for this excellent AskReddit thread, we would never have thought about Disney movies this way, so thank you, Redditors!

Amazing technological marvels left behind by the previous civilization, like flying carpets or genetically engineered parrots that can comprehend human speech instead of just mimicking it, are taken for granted by locals or considered “magic”. The Genie proves this by making impressions of ancient, long-dead celebrities such as Groucho Marx and Jack Nicholson."

I remember that one, he's working in a German munitions factory. His nightmares involved the axis leaders.

The thing I heard was both his parents passed on there anger issues trait to him and Della. That coupled with the fact that he is incredibly unlucky. I like what they did in the new ducktales where he is so afraid that his nephews will be in danger that the he uses that rage to protect them.
Another that ties in with this are his nephews are actually war orphans he takes care of because of the guilt!
The bit about Donald having PTSD feels very plausible. There was a 1945 Disney comic called the Icebox Robber where Donald Duck is sleep walking and taking food from the fridge. His nephews try waking him up with some firecrackers only for Donald to suddenly have what appears to be a WWII flashback where he thinks the Japanese are attacking him. He then goes after his nephews.

I always loved the Peter-Pan-is-evil-and-a-kidnapper theory.

Also, there was a cupboard full of teacup children that weren't given names that also appeared to be under Mrs. Potts's care. What's the deal with those kids?!"
It's possible they were the wait staff or just her actual children. Also, many children would work in kithens because they were small and there was always something for them to do.

Darth Jar-Jar is a ridiculous theory, but also makes a ton of sense. I personally don't believe he is a secret Sith lord, but I do believe he's Force sensitive.
"Anna and Elsa's parents sailed away in order to attend Rapunzel and Eugene's wedding in Tangled. On the return trip home it was Ursula who caused the shipwreck. I think in at least one version of this theory they actually survive by being washed ashore, where the Queen eventually gives birth to Tarzan."
Disproved. In Frozen 2 they found out that the parents were sailing for Ahtohollan.

I thought people and animals died because of the blizzard and the cold. Also I never understood why everyone was just cool with her after she froze everything and then said “yeah, sorry about that”.

Except that Alice in Wonderland was about math. Yes, you read that right. Lewis Caroll was a mathematician in the days when new mathmatical concepts were being introduced. Things like non-euclidean geometry, imaginary numbers, stuff like that. Which Caroll thought was absolute nonsense. Alice in Wonderland is representative of that. Alice is the sane, real person and Wonderland represents what the world would be like (in Carroll's opinion) if these new concepts were 'true'. So yes, Alice in Wonderland is about math, not drugs.

Hence why Zazu refers to them as "murderous" outsiders and why Simba is so overprotective of Kiara. Also, while not in itself "evidence" the movie does make a quick reference to Kopa from the Lion King books. At the start of the song We Are One, Simba pushes Kiara off a rock and her tail lands on her head. The way the tail floof is positioned makes it look like she has the same mane as Kopa did in the book (so even if this theory may not have been intentionally part of the story it is possible Kopa still served as a partial inspiration for some of the writers and animators).
And yes, IK Kopa survived in the books, but I prefer the idea of him dying or at the very least never returning. Since if that isn't the case it'd mean he's the "true" king and that'd undercut Kiara's story."
I’ve heard this theory before! I agree with it. In the first movie, their cub is designed to be a boy. The second movie, it’s a girl. So where did Kopa go? This makes a lot of sense to me, and also explains Simba’s overprotectiveness.

Wait, what if there are two kingdoms. The one in Tangled and the one in the Frozen. They are joint kingdoms because the two parents got married. The parents had Elsa and then they had Rapunzel but then Rapunzel got stolen and then they couldn't have another baby so they adopted Anna. And that confirms the earlier theory that the parents were going to Rapunzel's wedding and then their ship was destroyed by Ursula on the way back and then they ended up on an island and then somehow they had Tarzan.

The second one is from Beauty and the Beast:Belle's Enchanted Christmas. I've never seen the film, but I presume that when the enchantment broke, Forte's dead human body was found in the same place he died.
