Load More Replies... People who are into 'alternative thinking' like alternative medicine and anti-vaxx, often think they are more critical than the rest of society, but a lot of them aren't. They just make a different choice in which sources to blindly believe. If you're instantly suspicious of anything regular science says and automatically tend to believe any criticism of regular medicine, you're not being critical at all, you are doing the same uncritical thinking as you think 'sheeple' do, the only difference is which people you are blindly following.
I didn't "blindly" choose to follow the recommendations of doctors and scientists from all over the world. Their titles and the letters that follow their names indicate to me that they are FAR more trustworthy than some jaggoff that barely made it out of high school who "did their own research". Doctors and scientists aren't always right, but their success rate is infinitely higher than random idiots on social media.

I once bad a friend make fun of me because i got excited we got a dusting of snow. He said those were rookie numbers and proceeds to brag about how much they get annually. We once had family visiting us here in the desert. It was New Year's. It gets cold and was in low 30s that night. We bundled up to go watch fireworks at a park. My BIL and my grown nephew refused to even put on coats. They're from the Midwest where below freezing is normal, and they're not like us desert dwellers who can't handle a little cold. But guess who kept wanting to cut the outing early and go home. Bragging that you are used to the cold is so stupid. 30 degrees is 30 degrees no matter where you are.
