I Spent 3 Weeks In Japan This Winter, Here Are My Best Cyberpunk And Noir Film Inspired Photographs (34 Pics)
I spent 3 weeks in Sapporo this January, shooting streets during snowstorms. I'll share some of my favorite photos in this post.
My name is Teemu, I'm an urban street photographer based in Asia. I love to take photos especially at night, and I've been inspired by cyberpunk and noir films. My favorites include Blade Runner 2049 and Road to Perdition. I hope you like the shots!

Very cool - at first I thought it was a split photo - half aboveground and half beneath.
Load More Replies...Gorgeous capture! Loved how you captured the reflection of the city in the puddle of melted snow.
It was Hector Salamanca who killed Gus. Walt just helped him to get the bomb. :)
Load More Replies...It even has the negative space needed for the ad copy.
Load More Replies...the shape of the snow under the bridge is in the shape of a skeletal snow monster!
"The sky above the port was the color of television, tuned to a dead channel." - Neuromancer
not shadows, tracks from cars driving in the snow

So beautiful, something about the cold that always feels "lonely" to me, even in a crowd. Talented beyond words, love your work.
I love the color play with lights, reflections, snow and water. If these had been taken in some big US city the snow would be a disgustingly dirty color filled with trash. Such a beautiful city. Looks safe too. All the solo walkers out at night.
Love the photos. While I was watching this one song started playing from my YouTube play list - Neo Tokyo by Scandroid. The mood was amazing. Thanks!
I love these. I used to live in Japan. Some seem very cozy, some show the isolation. Excellent!
