I didn't realize that the reflections in the eyes were painted until I saw this comment. It's so accurate that I thought it was glare from the camera!
Load More Replies...That is Amazing!! This guy has some serious skill. I don't think I've ever seen that kind of detail.
I love it. Such Imagination on such a HUGE canvas!! I think I like this Alice better.
The windows really make the iguana pop out like he's climbing out of the building.
Scary to small children, but very cool. I love blue. This painting is so 3D.
I love the detail. And they deserve wings, one because they are angels, really big angels. And two, they would help them escape from man, I wish. Unfortunately, no animal on Earth is safe from humans. Not even other humans. But, it is a beautiful painting.
Beautiful Goddess!! I'm in love, I love blue, and I love crystals, and again the details. And she is gorgeous, this is the kind of art that I would stand in front of and applaud. Gorgeous!!
I bet that some children will remember this one 'til the day they die!
This is serious nightmare fuel. Imagine going down those stairs late at night!
Holy cow!! It looks ready to eat you. But on the far bottom right you can see that its eggs are hatching. I wonder where those stairs go? Very cool!!
That is crazy. If you DRINK alcohol, DO NOT go live in this building. But it is a beautiful and imaginative painting.
That is so cool. Looks like a very secretive meeting. Look at the details on the face on the right. Perfect bone structure. Love It!!!!
This is is such a great piece! I love how the back of the left figure is continued with the nature behind.
So beautiful and touching. This brings tears to my eyes. With the way the world is today, this is true to life in some places.
His little feet are all wet. It looks like she rescued him.
Load More Replies...There is far too much war in our world. But there is also plenty of hope.
I must have scrolled past this one. How could I have missed this one?? This is SO touching, yet they look so sad. Humanity has destroyed their world. And they know it. But, it also looks like a very loving and intimate moment.
This would totally trip me out if I was walking along and stumbled upon it. Cool.
I love this. The imagination it took, and the attention to detail. I bet this building looked awful from all angles before he painted this.
I'd be happy to be in the house that is encircled by the gold heart.
Beautiful girl, I wish we could escape. But now we are all flies on the web.
I'm walking into spiderwebs, so leave a message and I'll call you baaaaack ♬♪ (sorry, I had to ♥)
Load More Replies...Gorgeous!!!! This one should be higher up. I'm a Leo and I love the color blue. And the waves are cool too.
Strange, but cool. I love that it's holding a woman in a wheelchair. And she has headphones on. The car looks like a VW Bug, I think.
Advertising and/or consumerism? I see an indigent native Indonesian girl (from a lower cast, peasant girl) in the colonial time sense, sitting in her shabby cabin. With an iPhone.
Load More Replies...This is really cool. The seemingly simple, yet so divine. And I love the reflection in the water.
Freaky demon baby and CUTE baby dragon. One or both of them are practicing how to breathe fire. Love it!!
Very cool!!! This one looks SO 3D, he put in the shadows and everything.
Yes, nice job on the 3D look! The coin really looks as though it is sticking out.
The Guy looks crazy and dangerous. Anybody who has crossed eyes trips me out for some reason. Makes me a bit dizzy too.
I love all the detail. The buildings in the background are nice and clear. Such imagination and detail in the main subject(s). Very, very nice.
This is beautiful, yet you can see the sadness in the faces of both mother and baby. Almost as if they already know what the future is going to bring. (Though this could be a reflection of my own feelings about the future). It is very touching.
A combination of 'Planet of the Apes', 'Star Wars', 'The Lord of The Rings', and I can't remember what the little dragon is from. Altogether, very cool!!
Can you imagine getting home late a bit inebriated to be faced with this? Lol
I know I went way off topic, but I am very passionate about helping the homeless. And this mural just brought all that out. I would have kept going, but most people don't want to hear my ranting. This one definitely brought out a lot of emotional stuff for me.
This one drives home the FACT that there are A LOT of homeless people ALL OVER the world. And our governments need to step up and take action to help them. We also need more people that care enough to help. And if people don't have time to volunteer, they could donate money to organizations that help the homeless. Such as soup kitchens, homeless shelters, and help create free mental and physical health care clinics for them. And rehab for those who need it. They could also donate clothes, shoes, food, grooming and personal care items. There are also organizations that help them get jobs and a place of their own. There is so much that could be done. I live in America, supposedly one of the richest nations in the world, yet we have hundreds of thousands of homeless people all across the country. And they are so vulnerable out there. Crimes against homeless people rise every year, and they don't report it because they know that either they won't be believed, or worse, nobody will care.
I want to remind everyone that there are also homeless children, teenagers, and families. There are people of all ages living on the streets. In the summer many of them die of heat stroke, and in the winter many of them freeze to death. There are also people who have pets, and those pets may be the only living things that show them true, unconditional love every day. Unfortunately, most shelters will not allow them to bring their pets inside. They are given the choice of either taking their fur babies to the animal shelter (where they will be euthanized) or not having a place to sleep. Most choose to walk away and take their fur babes with them. It Is SO WRONG that those are their only choices. Our fur babes (pets) are sometimes the closest things we have to family. And making that a condition to be able to come into the shelter so you can sleep under a roof IS CRUEL!!!! Most homeless people don't want to be homeless. And others just don't want to be part of society anymore.
Load More Replies...In total agreement, Tammy. Our society could do a lot more for the homeless. Not all of them are winos or junkies - many are good people who just had some rotten luck, or made one too many unwise decisions. Yet we slash public aid to the bone while fattening our already obscenely obese "defense" budget. Churches install spikes and automatic water sprayers to deter people from sleeping on their grounds. Each one of us can do something, even if it's donate a few dollars to a reliable charity, or a few packages of food to a food bank, or just sign petitions. OK, time to get off my soap box.
Damn, I thought I was the 1st to notice! (Ho hum, I won't delete my earlier comment though.) But YES, you are 100% right (but you should've written "...the late great..."). 😉
Load More Replies...I like how the seemingly unfinished contrasts with the finished.
Ah, Love. Such a universal thing. Most of the people on Earth can understand love and longing. This makes me think of both. Such an intimate moment. Beautiful!!!! (I've been single too long...lol.) And the scroll-like detail is beautiful.
I know, he somehow manages to make corners looked rounded and makes other things disappear. For some reason, this makes me think about Smeagol from Lord of the Rings. And he's hiding from the weird alien thing. But I definitely share his love for the gold detail he puts in his paintings.
It takes a special person to be able to look at a structure, wall, any sort of canvas, both big and small and see the beauty hidden inside. But to see it on such a huge scale and being able to bring that beauty to life is a skill and talent that's almost beyond words. You, Sir, are a wonderfully skilled and talented artist, and I wish I had one of your murals on one (or more) of the inside walls of my home. I wish I had this kind of talent. But sadly, I do not. My talents lie elsewhere. But you are amazing at what you do. Thank you so much for sharing.
Such a juxtaposition of styles. I like the style on the left, I'm a bit afraid of giant robots and unknown technology.
It looks like the robot is "wrangling" its arm through it to give her a small gift. Currently at least robots are just tools, and you shouldn't be afraid of the tools but rather the users of said tools.
Load More Replies...It's a baby angel and I think it looks pretty cool in its little nest.
Now, this is some serious imagination!! I love it!! So many totally different subjects combined to create this fun and quirky masterpiece. The happy, possibly stoned, slightly goofy mushroom. The elf and his drinking horn. The monkeys who seem to be acting as if they were pets. It's pretty awesome. But I can't figure out what the gold thing is on the bottom left?? Any ideas?? Anyone?? Also how, and why, are those people in his lap?? Also the details...In every painting he does, his details have been SO perfectly executed. And I LOVE that. I'm a details person myself because to me the beauty of something is in the details. It is in the smallest of things, the things that most people can't see, don't look for, don't care about or don't recognize. Whether it's painting, sketching, writing, designing, cooking, playing an instrument, creating beautiful things, etc. When you love doing something, you're always looking to make it better, and for that, you need the details.
The people are on the balcony or look out which is part of the elf's lap
Load More Replies...I don't know why, but this one looks like that man was abducted by aliens and they are running experiments on him. And that is a scary idea. It makes me want to figure out how to save him from the aliens.
That is Beautiful!!! I love the colors. LOL...I just now realized that they are both jellyfish. Awesome!!
Freaky. Is he feeding the horse on his head? There is a saying about people having a monkey on their back. I think having an angry horse on your head might be way worse.
I believe that's a bull, not a horse. Note how one brow become the bull's lower jaw.
Load More Replies...I would freak out if I saw that staring at me from behind the bushes. The missing link as a little boy/girl. Interesting thought.
Also freaky. It looks like a blind goddess is ripping her own face off. If there were snakes I would say this was Medusa. But I don't see any snakes, and I can't remember the name of the goddess with the horns. It's almost like she's saying "I have become death, here let me show you".
How a lot of us feel about our jobs, our position in life, et cetera.
It looks like one of those things that tiny villages used a LONG time ago. The one where their head went through one hole and their hands were just like this. They made it out of wood, but I can't remember what it's called. It was used as the ultimate way to shame people when they committed minor crimes (read: did something stupid) This is way cool, and I agree, it would look great on the front doors of a jail or a prison.
I want to say Thank You to the artist for sharing these AMAZING paintings/murals. I really enjoyed them. There were quite a few that I would love to have painted on the inside walls of my house. And the detail in ALL of them is unlike anything I have ever seen. And the range of subjects and styles is pretty awesome too. Thank you again for sharing your creations with us, I feel as if I just went to a museum. : )
Damn! I especially like the ones that have people or objects next to them so I could get a sense of scale. Also I would like some of whatever he's taking.
