There are days (weeks?...) when you are really, really not feeling it. Getting out of bed seems like too much work, let alone actually going to your workplace. It requires dressing up, brushing your teeth, or even putting on makeup for some, and you feel like you'll do just about anything to skip the responsibilities of adult life. Luckily, there are really creative people out there who come up with the most elaborate reasons for calling in sick. And as the blues of the dark month of February are starting to hit really hard, it's no wonder that the hashtag #StrangeReasonsToCallOutSick is trending. Never once been able to tell the correct usage of effect/affect apart. I've read multiple guides, but nothing clicks. But don't see how the misuse could confuse meaning, so whichever in whatever context gets a free pass from me.

Not funny at all. The Chinese doctor who has been send to jail cause he was the first to report the virus infection, and forced to sign a confession saying he was wrong is now DEAD. This virus killed him as well as a much larger number than the Chinese authorities wants you to believe. His pregnant wife is also sick as well as his 5 years old son. Police is now installing locker on homes with infected people as there is no more rooms in hospital for them. Doctors have order to treat only mild case, the other have just to keep praying. Still funny? (Oh, And I live there in case you wonder. Only one person by household is allow to go out every 3 days to buy food. Restriction on all supplies... Army in the street to enforce it. ) Please come and join the fun to not be able to work and not getting paid.
