This Photographer Captures Pets And Their Owners In A Unique And Fun Way (100 Pics)
Have you ever wanted to do a photoshoot with your pet? Maybe you’re getting flashbacks of those cheesy, double-exposure ‘80s portraits that have been memed in recent years. Yes, you know the ones we’re talking about — those awkward family photos with Mr. Fluffles that we love to cringe at. Although the mullets have stayed in the past, this type of pet photography has come back into fashion. Ironically, of course.
And there’s no one doing it better than Danielle Spires. Her creative portrait photography captures people and their furry friends in a unique way. Some of her shots are quite dramatic, others, very whimsical. Either way, her retro photos perfectly capture the kitschiness of an era that fell so hard out of fashion.
However, it’s all in good fun and if you look at the effort that goes into Danielle’s pet portraits, you’ll see she’s truly an artist. Not to mention, her subjects will have a wonderful reminder of their dearest pets to display on the mantelpiece for all time. When you’re ready, check out the wholesome but funny cat photos from the past that inspired this meme in the first place!

"Yep, she made this collar herself. I suppose I should be grateful"
Poor puppy looks like a cartoon dog after being hit in the face by a frying pan. So uncomfortable. This breeding for traits like this has to be stopped. The animals suffer tremendously. I'm glad they're loved.
Does the Guinea Pig have tattoos? I could be wrong - maybe it's painted on or I'm seeing it wrong, but if it does have tattoos that's not cool. A Guinea Pig can't consent to the pain. But again, I could be wrong - I mean no one would tattoo an animal, right?!?
There was a case of a tattooed sphinx cat but in that case I think the Guinea pig is just hairless.

These are bizarre, awkward and frivolous and I love every damn one of them.
What a very cool group they had to shoot. I enjoyed this unusual thread.
