The smartest person on the Earth nowadays is considered by many to be Terence Tao, a professor of mathematics at UCLA, who rightfully has the nickname "the Mozart of maths." Professor Tao's recent IQ test showed a result of 230 - and this is simply unbelievable. For example, Albert Einstein never took an IQ test, but many researchers estimate his score at 160.

And what about the dumbest person ever? There are definitely no clear criteria here, and each person has their own point of view on what is considered stupid and what is not. However, people are willing to share their observations on this matter on the internet.

My friend refused to believe a certain hot Scottish actor, who she thought it was really him messaging her, vowing his love for her, etc. was a scammer; long story short, after a couple of weeks she was having problems with her FB and her “love” fixed it for her. After that, she couldn’t access her account and 17 major purchases were made in her name.

and yet those same people will accuse those who did change their opinions of various forms of cowardice or disloyal, or weak.

For example, recently, a couple of weeks ago, the user @mariaxxnn asked this question on X: "What’s a sign of very low intelligence?" As of today, the tweet has 533 reposts, more than 6K likes and over 10.8K various quotes. Without taking into account the inevitable repetitions, of course, it turns out that human stupidity has so many different facets! Racism and bigotry is a learned behavior, usually taught to children and engrained in them by their parents/family members. The fact that as they get older... they never get that 'sense' of "this doesn't feel right" ...is where the lack of intelligence comes into play. They've refused to go out and learn for themselves.

It can be learned, but I do think that an intelligent person can see past it. My father didn't grow up during apartheid (he was born before it was codified in 1948) but his father was, to quote my dad, "a terrible racist". Apparently he chased Dad's Black friend away and would make shocking comments. But my dad saw right through it and stood up for everyone during the apartheid years. He was thrilled when our first free elections happened. My mom used to run outside into the street during "pass raids" and yell at the cops for their treatment of people. We grew up with them as our example. And Star Trek.

    Carl Jung was rubbish

Among the points of view presented in this selection, there are both frankly parodic, satirical, and certainly truthful. Both signs that have grown on the wave of modern hype, and some "eternal values," relevant both today and several centuries ago. And even millennia - after all, what is "celebrity worship," if not an attempt to rethink the ancient biblical commandment "Thou shalt have no other gods before me"?

True but also not everyone has access to birth control and the choice whether to keep the embryo or not is getting more and more restricted in the world. Accidents happen unfortunately. Don’t get me wrong, I am a parent and I am well aware that many people shouldn’t be in charge of a child but some of the current laws in the world do not make the situation any easier.

It depends. People with personality disorders, which they're many. They struggle with rejection, put downs or blows to the ego, all depending on the personality. It's all from trauma. It doesn't mean they're not intelligent. Also they're many ways people can be intelligent. It's not just to society's standards. Someone could not know how to read or write but then be highly intelligent in a whole other way. Borderlines are emotionally instable due to sensitivity from their trauma. But they have a sharp sense in reading others emotions and behaviors and pick up on keen observations that others don't notice. They're are extremely self aware. Empathic and put themselves in others shoes as they feel so deeply. Yet they have emotional outbursts and are self destructive. This is an example of behaviors in people. Narcissists protect their ego at all costs.. they will hurt you and scream at you, doesn't matter. Whatever the behavioral reaction is, it's all from trauma and protecting that fragile sense of self. They're also intelligent despite this. My Dad was a malignant narcissist who'd throw the Monopoly game bored and yell if he lost. This man was highly intelligent. He worked as an inspector in aerospace and then went on to build bridges. Sadly due to his trauma and personality disorder his personal life and relationships were a wreck.

"However, there are always patterns of behavior that look completely disrespectful to other people and, if they are repeated regularly, can really be regarded as a sign of low intelligence. And, what is most sad, this has almost nothing to do with the level of IQ," Valery summarizes. Yes, in the end, history knows too many cases when undoubtedly smart people repeatedly did some stupid things...

I think this has more to do with character. You can be an intelligent coward. Or a unintelligent brave person. Doing the difficult thing while knowing you will be misunderstood and punished for it is rare, but an excellent sign of character.

This has nothing to do with a person's intelligent and a very ignorant comment 🙄 Narcissists are intelligent 👌 they build mega churches and what about that Scientology guy? Money.. money.. money.. power and control. Borderlines are paranoid but they're also highly intelligent. Marilyn Monroe for example. Would you say she lacked intelligent due to her BPD? JFK for his narcissism? These are examples. Hitler was extremely intelligent. Just because he did unspeakable things doesn't mean he was not smart.

I have to disagree about this showing a lack of intelligence, as there are a lot of things that go into this. Neurodivergents such as myself may experience difficulty regulating emotions, for example--it's not that we're unintelligent when this causes lapses in sound decision-making, our brains are wired very differently and can make a situation more difficult than it needs to be, beyond our control at times. Not to mention depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and a number of other mental illnesses can similarly affect a person's judgment despite their intelligence and best efforts.

Spending $936 billion annually on gluttony, consumerism and decorations and calling it "Christian" is blasphemous. But spending that money on the poor, suffering and sick would be socialism /s.
