Yes exactly. I can't stand this "stop generalizing" and "good people on both sides" BS. First of all, we need more than two "sides". More importantly, if you truly believe that you are a good person, why are you voting for the side that actively promotes the eradication of legal protections for women, POC, the LGBTQ community, veterans, the environment, and whose leadership has remained largely silent in response to their only named 2024 presidential candidate calling for the mutilation of our Constitution? I would love to hear a very good, thoughtful, well researched and articulate answer to all of this. I can wait.

I always find it weird that the "red" party is the right-wing one, because everywhere else "red" is the left-wing/socialist/communist color.
Same here. I'm surprised that the Republicans have been okay with that since they were sure against the "Reds" and "Pinkos" back in the day. I guess they aren't many options though. It's red, white or blue and the Republicans already get accused of being the white party they wouldn't want to make it official. :-D

The main way this European sees American elections is absolutely continuous. They campaign for literal years, vote for months on end, someone wins and then the campaign seems to go again for the next one.
