40 Of The Most Spot-On “School Memes” Shared In This Dedicated Online Group With 28K Members
"School" – a divisive word that evokes only the best emotions in some but gives a serious case of the heebie-jeebies to others.
The greatest part is that we get to be free from the bare realities of life; nobody assumes that we're going to conquer the world or tackle any mountains. We're expected to experience that unburdened existence and be carefree without having to fear any consequences – however, this doesn't mean that this lovely phase will guarantee you a completely stress-free time. After all, nobody canceled all the all-nighters that you're probably going to pull just to meet yet another deadline that you've left until the last minute.
“Memes of the dank, but for school” – to reminisce about bittersweet school memories or to make that boring lesson pass a little faster, this online community dedicates its postings to memes that every student, ex or current, is bound to find relatable. The subreddit has been blessing netizens with content from October 2017 – and, since then, has managed to get over 28.5K active members.

The Logic
“Live as if you were to die tomorrow. Learn as if you were to live forever” – this powerful quote from the widely recognized politician and spiritual leader, Mahatma Gandhi, is something that every one of us has heard a couple of times in our lifetime, or at least a variation of it.
We're often told that life is a continuous learning cycle and that everyone has their own path that is filled with mistakes that we're destined to learn from.
Well, formal education is one of the numerous options that will aid in your knowledge expansion and the development of the abilities you'll need throughout your life.
I Never Raise My Hand
We're born into this world without a single droplet of knowledge. We're learning day by day from our parents, siblings, grandparents, and those who choose to take part in our upbringing.
With our loved ones' guidance, we master the most important things that promise us a bright future, and once we're ready to spread our wings, we get passed onto an educator whose responsibility is to broaden that given knowledge, as well as help us to acquire competence and virtue.
Teachers are arguably the most crucial members of our society. At the end of the day, what is taught to children at an early age stays with them for the rest of their life.
Learn From Me
It Hurts
Now, it's not uncommon to dread the first day of school; it doesn't matter if it's your first time or if you're just returning from your wildly adventurous (or not) summer break.
Chances are, your caregivers have told you something along the lines of "school time equals top time," and that it'd be in your best interest to cherish this period because once you finally get that full-time position, you'll be left with a couple of grey hairs, deteriorated mental health, and the good old school days to reminisce about on those tiring evenings.
Quite frankly, all of this is very close to the truth, and the majority will probably agree that those reckless and thoughtless school days were, in fact, the best ones.

Ha Ha!
Moreover, formal education does wonders for your social life. You'll spend your days beside buddies that will most likely stick around till adulthood.
They'll be the reason you want to wake up and get on that crowded bus just so you can sit together in your Science class.
Maintaining a friendship is not always that easy, and you're guaranteed to fall out at least once or twice – however, the often-mentioned carefreeness will help you to pick things up right where you left them and re-establish lost contact in approximately 2-4 business days.
They All Be Wearing Adidas Or Nike Clothes With The Most Expensive School Bags And Screaming Around "Sheesh" I Can't Do This Anymore
Of course, let's not forget that everyone's experience is different, and not everybody is lucky to have a close-knit class and educators that are willing to go out of their way to give you the best support possible.
There'll be time when your school days will feel too long and that's totally okay. It's crucial to remember that the "best days" are not limited to your school years and that there's plenty more goodness to come.

Load More Replies...I had a kid do this to me in the 8th grade. I went through a rebellious stage and had been getting into a ton of trouble. I was told by the principal with my mom present that if I got into any more trouble id be suspended for up to a week. That morning the kid beside me was aggravating me to death for no reason and I told him if didn't leave me the FCK alone I would knock the hell out of him. He immediately said he was telling raised his hand while the teachers back was turned. I panicked and before she could turn around I kept my promise and knocked the hell out of him. He started sniffling and the teacher asked what was wrong he told her what happened and I got a week long vacation from school. My mom and dad were pissed but I made them believe it was self defense. I'm in my 40s and just recently told them the truth about what happened. They were still pissed.
Was the other one even told off? My youngest would secretly nag his other brothers and when they kicked em, he called: mommy! So I sent the bozo kickers to their room, but they thought it was not fair and they had a point. I said: tell me if he nags you. Then I put him in the hall. So that worked great. No more kicking and nagging.
Load More Replies...Reminds me of when I was in 1st grade. I thought I would impress the girl sitting next to me by writing a curse word on my school supply box with a crayon. But when I showed it to her, she raised her hand and told the teacher, who confiscated my box. Later that day, when my mom came pick me up, she was shown the box. Afterward we went grocery shopping, and as punishment, my mom made me walk around in the store wearing the box on my head, much to my chagrin. Probably no one more than a few feet away was able to read the curse word, but in my mind it was like it was written in blazing, scarlet letters that everyone could see.
I did this one time to a few of my friends. We were play fighting, and I said “I’m telling!” And I walked over to the teacher to show her my work, and pointed at my table where my friend was and said, “I’m working there,” quiet enough so my friend din’t hear, and when the teacher walked over he screamed, “I didn’t do it!” and the teacher looked so confused. I did it again with another one of my friends another time, but he started crying instead… whoops!

School Was Amazing
waking up at 6:10, learning things i will forget later in life, getting told off for something my friend did, almost falling asleep in maths ... wow. The dream.
I had a teacher in highschool who used to think that "shaming" students would make them work harder. So, if you missed an assignment, he would right your name on the board and the date the assignment was SUPPOSED to be turned in and the date you ACTUALLY handed it in. If you didn't hand it in within 1 day of your name being written on the board, he would put a big zero on the board beside your name and the assignment. I had to miss some time from school because I got sick and instead of understanding that I missed the assignments because I was sick, he wrote my name and all 11 assignments I had missed, on the board, with a big zero beside ALL of them, to shame me and then announced to whole class that I would be failing his class. It was HORRIBLE!!!!! (Follow up: He got fired 2 years later for getting caught smoking weed with some of his students.)
... school sucked. 14 years, 7 schools, about 200 classmates may not be speaking for me in every regard, but that I know what I'm talking about, it shall make sure enough for now. School sucked, because once you were sorted into your categories, you couldn't escape. The grade-A, small grown, half asian boy, a real teachers' darling, reveived the same credit I did when we ... meaning I ... electrified some lamps into a cardboard house. I knew how that works and basically got our group's girls to do "girl stuff" (= paint the house, decorate it ... generally, I'm not a supporter of assigning these to girls, but being a 3rd grader, I didn't know any better and they weren't interested anyway, ...), and had him occupied with something else, and was automatically considered having contributed the least. Us being graded equally seems like the highest to ever expect. I don't have any hard feelings against him, he probably is a nice guy, more likely than not, but him being graded A just went on Autopilot way too long. Same with the three in my last school who were able to skip one grade - they were considered geniusses anyway, and therefore, received overly optimistic oral grades at the very, very, very least.
School I always just showed up for lunch and if I actually went to class I slept
I've been in my school for 2 months and just now I see back to school memes like 😖😤
I had an English teacher in HS who insisted we learn French and meanings for English. She said we would use them all the time. Ahhh that's bs. Don't remember a single one of those words. And when was the last time in anyone in English speaking in society uses French words on a daily basis at least 10 times a day. No one. She was a wannabe French teacher. Ms sam you were an idiot.
abandon, abbey, abbreviation, abhor, ability, abnormal, aboard, abolish, abrasive, abrupt, absent, absolve, absorb, absurd, abuse, abysmal... All derived from French, and that's only the words that begin with "ab".
