A year ago, I joined an Instagram challenge called @roomportraitclub. Every Saturday, a photo of a room is posted and artists from all around the world are invited to interpret it in any way they choose. This weekly challenge has become my weekly addiction.
Sometimes I add famous people, other times animals, depending on my mood or what suits the particular room. Lately, I have been creating underwater scenes that add a dreamlike quality to the painting. They are quirky, fun, and make me smile. I hope they make you feel the same.

Hi Heather... that's a good point. I wanted to keep it fun and colloquial because I believe she has a brilliant sense of humor and would find it all quite funny. Perhaps you are right though!
From one artist to another: This is a very sweet and delightful painting, and you selected your title on purpose, but you might consider changing it to, "Her Majesty and Monty." Of course, it is completely up to you as an artist, however, as amicable as she is, The Queen prefers to be addressed by her proper titles, by all but a select few. Many people love The Queen and I wonder--would you get more likes on this piece if the title reflects her preferences?
