Life is different for everyone and every single person has had different experiences. However, there are certain things that we relate to and almost all of us have experienced.
That's exactly what this artist, Loryn Brantz, focuses on in her colorful, silly, and funny comics. The artist illustrates everyday problems that we all run into, usually focusing on the view from a woman's perspective. Loryn also touches upon some more important topics like feminism, sexism, and other social issues. Loryn wants people to look at her comics and realize they are not alone in the world facing these types of problems, and that's exactly what she has achieved.

On Loryn's website, it says: "Loryn is the creator of The Good Advice Cupcake, Jellybean Comics, Blanket Journey to Extreme Coziness, the best-selling board book series Feminist Baby, and a two-time Emmy winner. She is currently a Creative Director at BuzzFeed where her work has been as silly as Disney Princesses with Realistic Hair and as serious as mental health advocacy – garnering millions of views and discussions. Loryn lives in New York City with her husband, architect Jake J Brother, and (non-architect) baby Dalia. She is trying her best."
Loryn told Bored Panda what the main goal of her illustrations is: "To make people laugh or feel less alone if only momentarily!" She describes her stylistic as "art vomit" which is quite an interesting way of describing one's art style. "Truly a little of everything – from serious issues like mental health to little observations of everyday life," she mentioned when asked about what topics she covers.
Loryn has created many books over her career. Currently, she has released 6 books, including: "Blanket: Journey to Extreme Coziness," "Feminist Baby," "Lady Stuff" and, of course, "Grab Life by the Balls." If you want to purchase and read these books, click here.
Loryn tells us more about how she got into art: "I've been passionate about art and storytelling since as far back as I can remember. I can't say any one thing got me interested, it just was how it was." The artist also told us more about the most difficult part of art for her: "Probably the anxiety that comes with it potentially being seen by a large number of people. I always worry it's not funny enough or well-drawn enough etc."

"I started doing Jellybean comics about 10 years ago, and I think I'll probably do them forever! I haven't been able to draw them as consistently since my job has shifted but I think I'll always want to draw one now and then." Loryn gives some advice to people who want to pursue art or create comics: "Try to create what you would like to see in the world! Especially if that's something you're not seeing. Also, don't over-concern yourself with how it looks, art is more about what it makes people feel, and that often has little to do with technical skills."
Ok everyone can you guys forget about this ryan guy so what if he made a bad joke, just forget it.

I actually sleep in a braid bc my hair is so long it'll turn into one huge knot that takes 30 minutes to untangle. I also get waves out of it sometime, but maybe some people are different.

my car's revenge for forgetting to renew the Freon container from last summer. i wait far too long for the cool air to come before realizing it never will and by then my face glows with embers and scorch marks.
There's this super friendly black cat that wanders around a certain area in my neighbourhood. Like seriously, if you walk up to it, it'll not only NOT run away but it'll walk up to you and start purring and rubbing against your leg. It also likes to roll on it's back on the pavement for some reason.
Loneliness has nothing to do with the number of people which are located in the same area as you. It is about social interactions and bounds.
Bangs are pretty but i can assure you.. they are messy and problematic after some time-
But they are still more respected, loved, healthy, paid and popular than others.

then she gets to japan and spent all her money money on the flight so all she can afford is a cup of noodles... but the writing is in Japanese and she feels cultured even though it's the SAME EXACT THING!
These comics are really cute, but the title is misleading. These aren’t really about “life as a woman”. But title aside, I liked these comics, please make more!
