50 Times People Spotted The World Glitching Out And Just Had To Take A Photo (New Pics)
You might remember the 1999 Sci-Fi action film The Matrix. Keanu Reeves plays a computer programmer and hacker that goes by the name of "Neo". He's always wondered about the reality of the world around him. Thanks to a "glitch in the matrix", he finds out that humanity is indeed stuck in a simulated reality run by intelligent machines.
It appears Neo isn't the only one who has come across glitches in his world. People have been sharing photos online where their surroundings appear less than real. Bored Panda has compiled a list of our favorites. Some look like glitches. Others could pass for bad renders. A few might even make you wonder if you're living in a simulated reality.

I love crystal clear water too! So much so, that in my early 20’s , I drank some in mountains in S Cal. It was hot, we had been hiking and we came across this lovely clear 2 foot deep creek. Boy did I get SICK!! I didn’t know I shouldn’t do that without filtering it first. Giardia was no picnic, I had noooo idea what hit me but it was awful!! The mistakes of being young and ignorant

Because it's a long exposure the turning blades aren't in one place long enough to register. But because the tower casts a shadow on them every time one goes by, the shadow it repeated in the same spot often enough to build up multiple impressions until there are enough to be visible.

Older camera phones had a real problem with darker skin tones and gave poor quality portraits. Development teams just didn't think of or prioritise the needs of black and darker-skinned people. Work has been done to recognise this issue and give better results.

This was a problem with colour film photography too. Apparently the technology only got better because furniture makers were upset that their brown wood wasn't photographing well for adverts.

it's usually caused by something punching through a sheet of clouds. plane, rocket, whatever. when it punches through the sheet of clouds it makes a kind of hole this one looks like it had been there for a bit and totally cleared. there is usually a little bit of wispy cloud still in the hole when it happens. BTW I'm not an expert just know alot of stupid s**t lol

For the first four floors or so, there's a section that is not mirrored just to the right of the central axis. By the perspective, I guess that the photographer stands ever so slightly off to the right of that axis, not noticable in the reflection but hiding them from the picture.

The UN building in NYC sometimes looks like that when the color of the sky matches the color of the sides of the building. I don't think it was intentional but it's still pretty neat.

Its hanging by the back of the seat on the chalk/pen holder, the back legs are touching the wall, the front legs are not touching the floor. At least, this is how I see it.

Most of it is reflection but the two windows are on the other side of the church, so the interior is hidden by the reflection, but you're looking through the church and the pickup is on the other side.

This happens everywhere from the Tropic of Cancer to the Tropic of Capricorn. Twice a year the sun will be perfectly overhead (solar noon) so the only part of any object that isn't directly in the sun's rays are the parts that are on the ground. Curved glass? The reflections on the window do seem to indicate that it is curved. Being curved and upside down would give this shadow effect I expect.

Umm you wouldn't get a shadow from having an astigmatism. I'm pretty sure this is a reflection of his glasses, which has something built into the lenses, to help correct the astigmatism. An astigmatism is an imperfection in the eyes curvature. The front surface of the eye, is the lens, inside the eye is curved differently one way than the other, it can also effect your cornea. 🤦🏻♀️

I've seen a picture of a half peach half nectarine which was a result of a mutation during fruit development so probably same thing. It was from a peach tree and when they grow the seed it grew a peach tree.

This honestly looks like someone just stuck half an orange, inside a half of grapefruit, that has been slightly hollowed out, so the orange half would fit snuggly.

OK, I'm done here, at least for a while. The ads are making the page glitch and crash so badly that it took about 25 tries to get to the bottom of this list. I'll check back in a week or so, but if it's still broken I probably won't be back again after that. I hope they're enjoying the declining engagement numbers.

I hate to see you go, but I believe a number of us are looking at leaving also. The fact that they can't handle trolls alone is enough to make one reluctant to come here, but the absolute drop in quality as well as the glitching pages is fast becoming a fatal flaw . . . . .
