Sleeping Beauty Castle At Disneyland
To learn more about this announcement from the perspective of a Disney fan, Bored Panda reached out to Brina, a personal blogger who shares all her adventures regarding Disney, travel, and magic on her Instagram account brina_and_the_wonderland.
First of all, we were curious about the inspiration behind Brina’s Disney-inspired account. She shared: “I know not everyone understands this passion. But for me, there are so many emotions behind Disney and especially behind the parks. So, I put this passion into my Instagram account.
Tangled (2010)
Pinocchio (1940)
If you love Disney, besides being familiar with all of their iconic movies, you must have been to at least one of the amusement parks. In the case of Brina, she shared how many parks she has visited and which was her favorite.
“I have actually been to all the Disney parks worldwide. My home park is Paris, and my favorite is Hong Kong. This may surprise some, but I evaluate everything on such a trip... Price, performance, arrival, booking, and, of course, the experiences on site. In Hong Kong, everything has fit, small but perfect."
Luca (2021)
Brave (2012)
These are a wonderful site to see and it is really powerful to be able to walk between the stones and place your hands on them. The Calanais standing stones predate Stonehenge. If you are visiting the Isle of Lewis I also recommend Lews Castle, the Gearanna Blackhouse Village, and Rubha Rohanais (Butt of Lewis).
I love the isle of Lewis the standing stones are beautiful
Load More Replies...In truth, overrun with tourists. I always wonder how the photographers find an opportunity for a people-free shot.
We asked Brina to share what is her favorite Disney movie within this list and why. Brina responded: “From the list, it is Beauty and the Beast. I still find this movie so beautiful and emotional after all these years.”
We were wondering if any of these locations got Brina's interest in visiting them.
“In general, I find all the locations impressive. I love to travel and if you can find a bit of Disney there, it’s even more impressive for me. From the list it is Neuschwanstein Castle, even though I live in Germany, I have unfortunately never made it there,” shared Brina.
Avengers: Endgame (2019)
why can this location not inspire disney to film there
Load More Replies...The Little Mermaid (1989)
And lastly, Brina added: “I think we should all listen to our inner child more often and not always take everything so seriously. 100 years of Disney means 100 years of magic for big and small.”
Winnie The Pooh (2011)
We used to play 'pooh sticks' on a bridge like this every time we went to our caravan
Alice In Wonderland (1951)
The Lion King (1994)
Who would've guessed that the Lion King was inspired by Africa? Incredible...
I thought there would at least be a rock formation they used.
Load More Replies...Well, Africa is Africa ……….. Disney: Ok, let’s do a movie about a mermaid. Disney intern: oh, oh, oh, I know. Let’s start off the movie in the water. I guess it would kinda be weird if it wasn’t?!?
Avengers: Age Of Ultron (2015)
Star Wars: Force Awakens (2015)
This is not an "inspiration", this is the actual place where the scenes were shot (Luke Skywalker's exile).
Ratatouille (2007)
Funny thing is, as the name suggest, this two michelin star restaurant is located in a train station.
Ah. How clever- let’s take a movie that’s supposed to be about a restaurant and make it be a restaurant
Cruella (2021)
The Hunchback Of Notre Dame (1996)
Well, afaik there are several Notre Dame-churches all over Europe. In Denmark they are calles Vor Frue instead of Notre Dame. So... in theory the Notre Dame in the film could be any of the Notre Dames in France. But I do believe it does say what exact church it is in the original story (and perhaps the film? Never saw it).
Load More Replies...The name of the movie is the name of the place the movie takes place in? Who would've guessed?
Damn, and I though they were inspired by the cathedral in Cologne! /s
Frozen (2013)
Peter Pan (1953)
Elizabeth Tower as it is known today. The Clock Tower/St. Stephen's Tower in 1953.
Whatever you call it, it's the same tower in both pics! That's not inspiration, that's just setting the cartoon there!
Load More Replies...Mary Poppins (1964)
Indiana Jones And The Dial Of Destiny (2023)
Aladdin (2019)
So a movie located in the desert was inspired by... the desert? What a surprise.
Hercules (1997)
One Hundred And One Dalmatians (1961)
Sleeping Beauty (1959)
... with definite shades of Neuschweiansdhetschetshein mixed in. (Did I spell that correctly?)
haha had a laugh ^^ Neuschwanstein, rougly translated to New Swan Stone.

I've been there and is is stunningly beautiful both inside and outside.
Snow White And The Seven Dwarfs (1937)
Doesn't look the same at all. Where are the frolicking animals?
Oh look. The woods. Now let’s throw in seven pervish dwarfs and poison apples. That’ll sell.
You should read the other classics in the German fairytale canon!
Load More Replies...Beauty And The Beast (1991)
The architectural style is similar, but the structures don't look remotely alike.
Rogue One: A Star Wars Story (2016)
they don't appear that similar imo, but i DEFINITELY have to update my bucketlist to include visiting Iceland <3
Or if Scotland or Ireland are easier, check out the Giant's Causeway.
Load More Replies...Black Panther (2018)
Um....? So yes, it was shot in South Africa. American actors speak with Nelson Mandela accents, which I found rather strange. But why is this an "inspiration"?
Black Widow (2021)
Again, not inspired, since Budapest is a real location. It was just the shooting location, nothing more.
Captain America: Civil War (2016)
Are you kidding???? A small random airport was the inspiration for an airport shooting location?
Some of these were quite a stretch and some could have been multiple places (but I didn't read the main article so maybe they were confirmed to be based on the places).
Jeez, y'all are the most whiny complaining s.o.b.s I've ever seen. Don't set so much of your world view on the generically generated title and just enjoy the material.
