My neighbour keeps coming out as pansexual. I don't feel it's any of my business so I just say "okay!", and I don't feel the need to tell her my own sexual inclinations. I know this comment will attract negative attention but I don't understand the need to tell anyone what sort of people you are or are not attracted to at any time in your life (bear in mind that people really do tend to be fluid - the way you feel can change, you're not fixed). Different if you want to be known by another name or change your appearance.

since this is an old comment i feel much more comfortable saying things that may be considered rude or smth (i have a hard time understanding social stuff so its not on purpose, its just i know stuff can be considered rude when i dont mean it like that) im out to my mother as genderfluid or pangender, and shes very supportive and my grandmother on her side is really obsessed with making me a "girly girl" which ive been against for my whole life, ive never liked that. So when i ask for more masc things, she wont say anything specific, but if im shopping for clothes with her, and i want a suit for a concert, she'll show me a feminine thing, not a dress because she understands i dont like them so itll be like a feminine shirt, and tight pants, and i dont feel comfortable with that because i identify a lot with a guy i think im bigender(pangender and demiboy or trans guy?) also sorry for so much text

@H Edwards : I see your point also. With limited information we cannot know one way or another. However, it seems unfair to assume the worst of a person despite limited information. 70 people have upvoted this comment having made the same assumption, that her aunt was deliberately passive aggressive or not supportive of how she identifies when in-fact, the comment also states that she isn't aware of how she identifies. The world was never going to change overnight, and there are people who have been brought up in immensely different social climates. Patience and respect and understanding HAS to go both ways for this to work.
