I do a lot of work with seniors & folks with traumatic brain injuries. We focus on exercising cognitive awareness & enhancing neuroplasticity via gaming. 1/3 of them are finishing up BG3, another 1/3 are finishing or new gaming Elden before June, the remaining 1/3 are all over the board playing everything from mobile tap games to Fortnite to platformers, dungeons & VR. Many had never played a video game until they joined our group. Many more hadn’t played since Atari 2600. They’re all very proud of being gamers, but they’re so nonassuming. There are no qualifiers of what it means to be a gamer other than they, indeed, play video games.

How tf is Mario not a real game it’s one of the earliest video games series and still one of the most popular collections of games of all time. Same goes for Pokémon.

Pokemon and Mario are some of the most recognizable gaming franchises out there, so stfu OP. They are part of the 90s kid gaming starter pack. (I still have the OG Pokemon games for the Gameboy I had when I was 10.) And the Ninetendo 64 was fun! It had 007, Mario, Perfect Dark, and Resident Evil 2. (N64 RE2 was great because it had additional files you could collect which provided more backstory and a randomizer mode, so the items were a surprise, but in a fun way.) I guess this is an old post since they keep mentioning PS4. Get a PS5 and install the extended storage OP so you can finally be a real gamer. And you haven't even play nearly 600 hours of Horizon Forbidden West like me? Loser. BTW your dad is my new sugar daddy and is taking me to Greece and is going to kick you out of your basement.
