True. But unfortunately, the people who need to see this the most are the same people who are too stupid to recognize sarcasm, irony, or satire when they see it.

Around here they can also be found in the waiting room a of medical and dental offices. Someone goes around and just leaves them. I find it offensive and I wouldn't want my doctor or dentist pushing religion on me, or using it as a framework in developing my treatment plan.

I blame a lot of this on the fact that we in America don't have national healthcare. A lot of people with mental issues slip through the cracks. I do believe that gun laws should be stricter but a lot of countries allow people to have guns and don't have the same problems we do. I do own a gun and like to go target shooting. My aunt and uncle are championship target shooters. That's how we always bonded as a family. But I can tell you in 42 years I have never shot anything living or tried to use my gun outside of a shooting range. In my state gun laws are very tight. You can't store ammunition in the same place as a gun and you have to have a trigger lock on. Plus you have to take gun safety classes first then apply for a permit from the government to own one. But I don't believe anyone in the public needs an assault rifle. It's only good for one thing and that is killing as many things as quickly as possible.

Most automatic rifles per capita and no "active shooter" incidents known. Switzerland.

They also would have no means of defending themselves when it's going to take police 10+ minutes to get there.

And all the criminals will DEFINITELY just follow the gun laws and not try to make their own or buy them illegally. Cause you know, the kind of people who go to a public place and shoot dozens of people are definitely not rule-breakers.

And yes, you can have a hunting license in Australia and a gun.

A 4 yo boy was told by his father to shoot at the cops when they came to arrest him at a McDonalds. The father was brandishing his gun because his order was wrong. The kid had pointed the gun, but an officer was able to knock the gun aside, thank goodness.

It's almost every day in the US now.

The poor are necessary if the rich want to stay rich. Who else would they exploit? Who would serve them and save them from real work?
