“Muh Guns!!!”
So often miserable people want others to be miserable like them. The gun toting gun lobbyists of the US will never see that if the public don’t have guns they can’t shoot each other, themselves or family members, even by accident.
Just to clarify: not everyone in the US is pro-gun or has one
Load More Replies...The Aussies weren't forced to give up their guns. They decided to do it themselves. It's called democracy. We here in America should try it some time.
Occasionally even now there are gun amnesties advertised for people who have an unregistered firearm or are unlicensed. They can drop them off to the police station no questions asked.
Load More Replies...There is no reason to have any gun except for hunting. Australia and NZ manage just fine thanks without. Only criminals hanker after more.
And yes, you can have a hunting license in Australia and a gun.
Load More Replies...I don't live in the middle of no where in Australia. Not in a major city, yes, but not out in Woop Woop. I know quite a few kids who do have gun licenses and go shooting on a regular basis. Even my school will issue student ids early for primary kids who need them to get their licenses. But I'm pretty sure that the last mass shooting was in 1996? My parents didn't even know each other back then. Yes, we are not perfect. Far from it. There is still some gun violence. But most of it's gang related, so I'm pretty sure that we are doing something right?
No point in arguing with someone who can't even be bothered to read the part of the 2nd amendment of the constitution that states ' A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.' As far as I can see, the USA, with the World's largest militia - apart from China - the right to bear arms to be extended to private citizens should be bloody well and truly consigned to the dustbin of history !!!
A militia is generally defined as a group of non governmental soldiers

In other words, no one is born bored. It arises due to certain conditions," Manhattan-based psychotherapist, speaker, and author Sean Grover told Bored Panda.
"Underneath boredom is always frustration. When frustration is met with passivity, boredom is a natural outcome," Grover, who has 25 years of experience working with patients in group therapy in clinics, schools, and health centers, said.

A home, enough food and access to a decent education and free healthcare. This is possible for everyone but the rich ones really want to keep the plebs in their place.

Load More Replies...Give $600 to a poor person and it circulates through the economy. Give $600 to a rich person and it’s hoarded.
How about, give $600 to a poor person and they will put it back in to the economy, give it to a rich person and they'll use it to invest in fossil fuel, short the housing market, manipulate struggling foreign currency, lobby governments to weaken civil and environmental protections, support the arms race...etc. poor people are not the ones ruining the world. The rich just want us to blame them.
Load More Replies...And the 600 would be invested in the community, so someone else also gets 600 and invest it in the next store
Yes! Circulating the money keeps the whole economy alive and in the long run inflation down. A few people just hoarding it means the whole system runs out of fuel if there isn't more fuel introduced.
Load More Replies...This is such an ignorant comment. It has been proven over and over that giving money to poor people means it will be put back into the economy very quickly. Giving money to rich people means it will be stored, quite possibly in an off-shore tax haven.

People keep saying US "is becoming 3rd world". I'm from Cambodia. It's run by a known, literal mass murdering dictator who's been in office even before he was ousted in 1993; he walked right back into his office. Hun Sen was "former" Khmer Rouge. Buddhism is enshrined into the constitution. Abortion is Very Much Bad™. Yet, folks can have legal, safe abortions before 12 weeks. After 12 weeks abortions will be performed if it was rape, continuing with the pregnancy will irrevocably harm or kill the carrier & if the fetus will be born severely handicapped. US is NOT 3rd world. It's worse. Also, most Cons/Repubs wouldn't recognize a real Communist if they invited the entire political party to the neighborhood barbecue fundraiser in honor of the local food bank.🙄😒
F**K. Reading this after reading ‘adoption stories.’ More messed up/traumatized kids being given up by 12 year olds, rape victims….. The list goes on. Force people who cannot parent to parent. How many teens I knew in school l. ‘Nature and Nurture,’ the evidence of that yes, our core nature is present at birth and nurture determines the possibilities, ( eg. supportive, stable home environment, counselling. Might mean some well adjusted kids rise up out of their background.

The psychotherapist said that boredom is often close friends with feelings of hopelessness and helplessness. And the best way to cure it is a counterintuitive one—surrender.
"Boredom can trigger enormous creativity when we tune in to the underlying frustration and come up with creative solutions," Grover highlighted. "Many inventions came out of tackling boredom and resolving it."

At a major medical center/med school in New York City, it was announced that the phrase "pregnant women" would no longer be accepted. There are only two allowed terms: pregnant persons, or birthers. This because in a couple of cases, transgender people in possession of a uterus (one each, I'd suppose) were able to carry pregnancies to term. Oh, and the only acceptable plural for person is persons, not people. Power point presentations have to be submitted 1-2 weeks in advance to be "vetted for offensive content" - no such thing as academic integrity any more.

They Are Turning The Fricking Lions Gay
"Homosexual" behaviour is far more widespread than people (largely detached from and ignorant of the natural world) know. Which makes claims of such activity as "unnatural" rather pitiful if not hilarious.
Homosexuality has been observed in hundreds of species. Homophobia in just one
Load More Replies...I saw a lion at the zoo getting it on with his own sister, and I really don't want to know who they copied THAT from.
There's really no such thing as gays and homophobes with animals, they f**k whatever they want to. 😂😂 doesn't matter to them. Next they'll say all the dogs who like humping inanimate objects have unnatural fetishes.
It's very very likely. Because it's well known that lions are fully capable to understand not just the concept of gender but also to identify such genders in humans. "Simba, take a look: that human has short hair therefore he's a male. Funny species those humans; the male has short hair while it's pretty logical that it's the female who's got short hair among us lions. Well, I don't judge them, live and let live. I say!".
"Identify such genders"? I think you mean "guess at the biological sex"

What??? It's been well documented for decades that many, many species of animals show homosexual behaviours, including lions. I bought a book about in the '90s. The only difference between humans and animals, as stated in my book, seemed to be that other animals would switch between the two and they didn't tend to only have homosexual sex.
Immigrant Prisoners Are Lease To Be Slaves
Unfortunately true. Remember the chain gangs? One can only hope that this modern version at least involves some degree of choice by the convict and some recompense, but it's a very slippery slope.
Depends on the states laws. Recent law passed out here was to change state constitution to make it a choice. Granted that choice was "go do it, or sit in a cell for most of that time period" but it's technically a choice.
Load More Replies...The convicts are 'paid' but aren't entitled to minimum wage. They get 12cents per hour to 40cents per hour. The prison makes an enormous profit on their labour, and charges the state for their care. States turn around and lease prisoners or buy products of prison industry for lower costs. This is slavery. This is why the US has the highest rate of incarceration in the world, and no interest in rehabilitating and preventing recidivisim. Enslaving poor people is profitable.
Yup, there was even a news article about how a prison had to find more prisoners or it would shut down. As if that was bad news.
Load More Replies...The 13th amendment is fun. Ban slavery.......unless it's a punishment. Then it's fine. Honestly I have less problem with this than I do with prisons being run by private companies as a for profit enterprise.
Private prison system in the US is worth $10.4 BILLION. "Correctional Facilities in the US - Industry Data, Trends, Stats | IBISWorld" https://www.ibisworld.com/united-states/market-research-reports/correctional-facilities-industry/
Load More Replies...Slavery has been outlawed....with the exception of prisoners. Because that's what prison is, when you f*ck up so severely that you're no longer permitted to make your own choices. Where to sleep, whom to share your space with, when and what to eat, when you get to go outside, when you get to have the lights on and yes, when you have to work. It's a punishment, a debt to society. None of that means to say that the prison industrial complex isn't severely f*cked up in the US, the number of drug related and non-violent offenders is staggering, and stupid. But that doesn't mean i'm going to shed a tear for the child k.illers, r*pests, serial k*llers and career criminals who are being forced to do something positive.
It’s mostly the non-violent offenders who have committed the same crimes as their not-imprisoned, white peers who are used for this work. Think of the security concerns if a child murderer or serial killer were sent for farm labor.
Load More Replies...I called this long ago. I predict that eventually, the injustice system will start offering young inner city kids (read: black) who were convicted of minor crimes their choice of prison or going out to Nebraska to "work on a farm and learn a trade." The slave masters will always find their slaves.
As someone who works in the prison system in the US, I have to say, its far from slavery. They have a roof over their head, 3+ meals a day, mandatory breaks, and they are paid depending on job and skill level. Also, theyre aloud to grieve anything they dont find fair, and more often than not, they get their way. Its also voluntary. you dont get put on "work crews" just becasue. You have to apply to be put on a list, and even then, you may not get the job. Its repaying a debt to society. Its the LEAST they can do.
Exact same argument used by Southeners during civil war: we treat them well. We feed and house them. FFS
Load More Replies...I have spent a total of six days of my 36 years on earth in the county jail. Im very against the prison industrial complex, and this very much looks and feels like slavery. That being said, if I had been stuck there for a long time, I would have been trying to get on this crew or any other work crew. Just sitting in your cell bored is awful. There is a reason some people are arguing that solitary confinement is cruel and unusual punishment. This is a tough issue.
I don't know who downvoted you for your perspective but it's a good insight that being in a cell bored is a different kind of terrible than working. Humans aren't meant to be idle so individuals may prefer the work to sitting bored. Just because we all hate the US for-profit prison system is no reason to downvote someone with thoughts on how prisoners may feel dealing with the system that we currently have, even though we can all agree it's a f'd up system
Load More Replies...And it's legal to use convicts as slaves in the US, which is just disgusting. 13th amendment goes like "Banning slavery, except for as punishment for a crime" No one should be a slave. Super messed up.
To illustrate this point, the psychotherapist provided a real-life example. "I work in therapy with a young man who was working from home during the pandemic. He became incredibly bored with his daily life. Through exploring his feelings in therapy, he decided to start playing the piano again."
"He began practicing, and later joined a jazz quartet."
"Now it is one of the most rewarding things in his life. He plays in clubs throughout Manhattan and invites his friends."
Which One Of The Many Mass Shootings Are We Talking About?
I'm sorry I have to admit when my friends were discussing a school shooting, I asked which one. Now when I hear shooting I just ask was it USA. If yes then it's another day, outside I'm interested a little more. It's a bad thing to say, but you have shootings literally every week in schools and I cannot keep up. My country had one shooting, one bullet was shot from hunting rifle. In the last 32years. How? And we also have teenage prisoners, and vandals, and murders but nothing compared to USA. Most of our killings are drinking gone wild and one dies. It's not perfect but guns are not allowed and police cannot shoot the criminal in the back of the body, cannot do fatal shootings. Why do you allow this? Also how come you allow insurance companies decide who gets to live, if you expect doctors to act under oath they gave. You literally make the doctors profession invalid when giving treatment decision to nonmedical persons in stuffy office looking to hit commission
Yesterday there was a bomb threat at a school 2 blocks away from me, and when I spoke to some neighbors I was passing by, no one seemed to care, as this is the US, and this s**t happens every day.
People of USA! Rise up and do something about this! Maybe - repeal that damned Amendment.
It's not the amendment that's the problem really. It's the NRA (gun lobby group) that pays all the politicians to vote against any common sense gun regulation. The vast majority of Americans support gun regulation reform. We need campaign finance reform and term limits.

In Texas, we’ve been asked to conserve electricity as to not overwhelm the energy grid. Obviously we shouldn’t *have to* but it’s either conserve energy or risk massive blackouts that last for days, like we just went through last year during that deadly winter storm that killed hundreds of people. I was honestly shocked to read on multiple forums, people that just refuse to. They set their ac’s as low as they want bc we’re in a heat wave, yet none realize we’d be SO screwed if our power went out in the middle of this heat wave. This individualism mentality is going to kill us all.

I found it interesting when in 2014, a web portal inverted this trend when they published an article about the wedding of Amal and George Clooney: "Internationally acclaimed barrister and human rights activist Amal Alamuddin marries an actor (...) The simple invertion of the expected roles showed the absurditiy of defining people only through their partners when they are impressing in their own right.

Y'all really need to stop calling anyone you don't like/disagree with a Nazi. It really undermines what Nazis actually were and what they did, like kill and torture people. These days someone will get called a Nazi for being a conservative. It's ridiculous.
Valid argument, especially concernig the term "grammar nazi" for me. Then again, in this particular instance, they might have actually meant people who are using Nsdap-tactics for crowd-approval and others who openly say and do racist things, like calling immigrants "hordes" and pillaging rapists, or openly saying that white people are superior. You know, things one would not be unreasonable to call them nazis for. Might not be completely correct. And tha has nothing to do with simple disagreement. Simply.being a d**k doesn't make anyone a nazi. It is a trend, though, that covert (and not-so-covert) ostrication of certain groups based on their heritage are used as the reason for all bad things. The way our house was set up, you could come running down the hall and hurdle the couch to get to your spot. My dad and I both broke toes...multiple times because we hit a foot on the way over. As a secondary school teacher for 25 years, if you worked out the hourly rate for teachers mathematically, we would be on less than 16 dollars per hour.
And that probably doesn't include the money spent on supplies every year
Load More Replies...Teachers have the most important job in society, ensuring that our children don't grow up to be ignorant, entitled useless little brats, which often means correcting the failures and picking up a whole lot of slack from $hitty parents. They spend 6 years (or more) getting their masters, they work 12 hour days, minimum, spend their own meager salaries providing classroom materials for lessons and many take on extra duties (like coaching) or second jobs just to be able to continue paying for your child to have a better education. But it's rare to see anyone advocating that teachers be paid more, while you can't look escape the constant roar of everyone demanding better wages for retail and fast food workers. I'm not sure, but it seems like those two things are somehow related.
Ahh but if the children are educated and not kept ignorant they might see through all the bs of the government claims of "We're the most free, most bestest nation in the world and nothing needs to change." So the Actual job the government wants public schools to do is create obedient little robots that don't question anything. How else do you explain things like "standardized tests" "teach only the curicculum exactly as it is" "here is your 6 hours of homework I'm required to add onto your 8 hour school day" etc. Note, none of that is on teachers but it is what many are required to do to keep their jobs.

The bored group bested their counterparts on both the number and creativity of ideas, as evaluated by objective outside judges.

What’s The Problem?
When I was in elementary school in like 4th or 5th grade, I remember a bunch of girls (I usually hung around the girls, because the boys were into sports and I was not. plus, I mean, I liked girls lol) were talking about getting married and having kids when they grow up and they were like "Kevin are you going to have kids when you grow up?" and I said no. I'm baffled by the amount of people that get surprised because I'm Brazilian and I'm white. I feel like Brazil is a mythical primitive land to some people, covered by a thick undiscovered jungle, full of monkeys, carnaval and beautiful suntanned women on beaches, apparently. And me of course, the pasty abomination.
As a Brazilian, I also received completely stupid questions, always from Americans. Brazil is an island in the caribbean? Latin America has only one president? As if it were a single country. But the best was when they asked me if there were cars in Brazil. I replied that the President had one, but since there were no streets he couldn't drive. In the US there are no geography classes?
Load More Replies...They probably assume they speak Spanish in Brazil too! (Hint: The national language of Brazil is Portuguese.)
Although both languages are distinctly different, they do share some similarities. I had a collegue once who was fluent in German, English, Italian, French and Spanish (and quite fond of switching between them), who, as the need arose, managed to get herself a grip of basic Portuguese in a few hours. She said that while it was totally different when it came to pronounciation and word endings, a spanish native speaker could understand it just fine (not necessarily the other way round, though).
Load More Replies...Sadly, even in countries where is it customary to learn a second language starting at 8 years old (English for us), when you speak it in public, (older) natives get often annoyed. The amount of times I heard "Slovak in Slovakia!" whilst chatting to a friend from abroad or on the phone with one is ridiculous. Thankfully, that mindset is not present in the post-Velvet Divorce (1993) generations. At least not too much.
I'm British by residency, (but I'm Romanian/Irish) the fact that for most of my life I have lived in the UK, I have still had someone tell me that "I spoke English well" once. Though that was online, so it may have been an American (joke, people. It's a joke <3)
- How do you call someone who speaks two languages? - a bilingual - How do you call someone who speaks a single language? - an American
I am Chinese, with my hair dyed blonde. Apparently that is too much for society to take.
This theory does confuse Americans and sadly a lot of my (UK) Country...
Another study concluded that boredom motivates people to seek out novelty. Our minds simply wander when we're bored, and we think of new things to try.
The goal, according to Grover, is to dig into the boredom and ask ourselves what is the message it's sending us. "Are you creatively stagnant? Are you lonely? Does your body need exercise? Are you engaged in enough stimulating activities? Are you trying new things?" the psychotherapist said there can be many.

Load More Replies...Cutting back on coffee and Netflix, will not provide a house deposit. Looking at you Kirsty Allsop (and other entitled, privileged twits).
I know some people will say that it’s better to give up creature comforts in the short term to make life better for yourself in the long term, and there is some truth to that. Don’t max out your credit cards or take vacations or buy cars you can’t afford—that’s common sense. But the idea that you have up something as simple as a Netflix subscription and a cup of coffee, and the occasional week off to feel human again, until your house is paid off and your retirement fund is overflowing is A) absurd, because Netflix is pretty damn cheap, and B) leads to a m i s e r a b l e 40 years to be capped off with a few comfortable years to spend on the porch wondering where your whole life went.
Perfectly true, however I would like to add: there is SOME value to the whole "cut the Starbucks and avocado toast" argument. While you certainly can't afford a house by cutting out these little luxuries, you CAN save enough for a vacation or some other bigger luxury. For example, say you get a $5 Starbucks drink 4 times a week: $20 a week times 52 weeks = $1040. With that money you could get on a bus or train and take a week-long budget vacation, or a luxurious 3-day-weekend. All paid for with your coffee money! Say you also spend $40 a month on take-out and $40 a month on subscription services like Netflix, Hulu, and Spotify. $80 a month times 12 months = $960. $960 + $1040 = $2000. If you book your flight and hotel early and get good rates, you can fly somewhere for a real vacation. Cutting out little luxuries won't help with big purchases like a home, but it can allow you to have larger luxuries like vacations or skydiving lessons or whatever floats your boat.

The hopelessness is real. How do you 'pull yourself up by your bootstraps' when you can't even afford the boots? You're working just to survive. Home ownership isn't even a dream, just having housing is almost out of reach. Poor quality, low nutrition, mass produced food becomes the only option because it's within budget. There really is no future anymore. When you get up everyday and just try to get through the day with no hope of it getting any better - that's the reality average young Americans are facing today. This is what used to be called 'poor'. Now, it's the American norm.
There are millions of houses sitting empty. If the greedy corporations ever opened them up to a reasonable cost, the housing crunch would ease a (little) bit.

It's crazy to live in a society where school shootings are so frequent that you simply cannot conceive that it can be different in other places
I can't get my head around America, we had a school shooting in the UK, with 16 children dead that's what it took to completely change our laws forever. In America 12 children die every day to gun violence. School shootings this year alone are at 95 incidences, with 40 deaths and 76 injuries.
I feel sorry for the kids there. It's like a war, all these safety procedures and drills in school..
Load More Replies...Our local (uk) school had a lockdown because a cow got in the playground!
What really messes with my head is that America would sooner educate primary school children on how to run/duck/hide from a shooter through routine drills, than actually fix the problem. Do any of them realise how f****d up this looks to the rest of the planet?
What gets me about this on top of how messed up it is is that the people shooting up schools are the students, the ones who've been through all the drills so they know exactly what kind of response the kids have been taught. There's so much wrong with trying to teach kids how to avoid being shot, expecting teachers to suddenly become defense experts and put their life on the line for kids they aren't even paid enough to teach let alone die for. These drills are completely pointless and not dealing at all with the situation. But, you know, folk act sad and send thoughts and prayers so that fixes everything....
Load More Replies...There was one school shooting. British people, including gun owners, were *horrified*. The gun laws were tightened up because that is what people wanted, and gun owners that had now outlawed guns gave them up in gun amnesties because they thought five year old children being shot in the face was worse than not having a gun (any way, there are still options for hobbies, sports, farmers, hunting etc, it's just tightly regulated)
This! When we, Americans, say stupid s**t like, "I use it for hunting/sporting." The firearms that are being used are made to do one thing, kill people. This BS about sport shooting, makes me want to vomit. No one needs an AR15, or its like. Not a civilian, not even the police. Now this is when someone will say, what about the military? Well, according to gun nuts, the AR15 is not a military style weapon (assault riffle). It just looks and operates like one.
Load More Replies...We may not do much right in Scotland but gun control is a definite success I
The rich who control America have their kids in private schools, not public. As long as school shootings happen only in public schools, then those shootings don't exist for them.
I was 14 the last time the UK had a school shooting (1996) but I was 40 the last time the US had one, I think that there's something amiss if the country with the highest gun ownership per capita (that's how many in every 100 for the people who do not understand Latin or call Mathematics, which is a plural word, Math i.e. a singular word) has so many who think that it's OK to take said guns to their local schools and Kill the children who go there to learn. How can the second biggest global economy have such a fascination with such a deadly weapon. Yes, I have handled and shot a gun but I wouldn't want to own one, the chances of someone trying to steal it would be too great. I live in the UK by the way and my late Uncle had a shotgun license so my brothers and I were taught how to use our Grandfather's shotgun when we were younger (before the school shooting) that gun always remained in it's gun locker when not in use and the rounds for it were in a safe in a completely different place
I remember that it was the saddest thing the whole country mourned those poor kids and the fact that is so common place in America is insane just get rid of you guns before you run out of kids
It makes my heart stutter when kids have never known anything other than active shooter drills and having to hide under their desks. When I was in Elementary school, we hid under our desks for earthquakes. I don't envy these kids.

A, "Virtual Track Train"
A train is a vehicle with two or more "carriages" attached to a locomotive (or powered vehicle if on the road) in this instance there are at least 4 vehicles per train. You get road trains in Australia where single lorry (truck) tractor units haul several trailers of goods over long distances and require less people to operate them (usually 2 or 3) which have been very successful. These are more like rail free trams though, I'd guess each part of the unit is powered, either by electric motors or small IC engines.

Depending on the place, a restaurant dinner for a family of 4 or 5 can easily be $100. That said, my weekly grocery budget for my family of 4 is much more than $100.
Load More Replies...You could probably get an office cleaning business going for $999, assuming you already have a personal vehicle that you could use. (Sanitaire commercial vacuum $128.87, good quality cotton string mop and wringer bucket $112.55, big fuzzy dust mop $51.99, angle broom $16.63, push broom $43.61, janitor-quality rolly trash can $111.51, the thing that hangs on the trash can that you put your supplies in $38.47, and that still leaves $503 for consumables, PPE and advertising).
Don't even need that. If you do domestic cleaning, it is perfectly acceptable to use the client's cleaning materials and appliances. About the only thing you really need to pay for is insurance. Accounts should be simple enough that you can do them yourself.
Load More Replies...A new business that could eventually turn at least a minimum wage profit for you would cost more than $1,000. And what's the time frame for the $100 of groceries? A day? A week? Also, I've never spent $100 on dinner and drinks. Even $50 is too much. I also can't afford the tools and supplies to learn the skills that would be fun or useful to me and could definitely not learn them in two hours. What universe is this guy living in?
"Life is about choices" yeah working yourself to absolute pulp shouldn't be a choice, it's not an option because i don't think that's a good way to spend your time in life
You can't just do things because it's physically possible i mean, mental health is not a thing to ignore

When You Take The Job Before Reading The Job Description
I wonder if the children in the school felt any reluctance as they were being shot?
Yeah, it's better if he shoots kids, after all, he came for them, not the cops. Stupid cowards.
How pro-life are you again? Real children are getting murdered by a real murderer
They even arrested one of the parents who tried to get in, after she got out of her handcuffs she got three children and an entire kindergarten class out.
They also physically detained one of the officer's who's wife was a teacher bleeding out on the floor from being shot, he tried so hard to get in the room but they stopped him.
Load More Replies...Despicable cowardice - those were KIDS for shish sake! What about the oath you swore?
Funnily enough (a very specidic kind of funny, that is), policr do not actually take an oath to protect people. Look it up - they are not required to save anyone. Their job is to uphold the law. Look i up - it is totally weird
Load More Replies...Unlile those cops, they usually care about their kids (edit:still a TERRIBLE idea to get more guns into the world.)
Load More Replies...One of the parents snuck into the school, got her children out, got an entire class of kindergarteners out ( Who are very hard to wrangle by the way) and still the cops didn't enter the classroom or the shooter was. that mother is a hero. She saved at least 19 innocent lives. There's 19 innocent lives that were lost in that fourth grade classroom, 19 innocent lives were saved by that mother in the kindergarten classroom. That mother did more than the freaking police
I cant even with these dumb fu(k$ anymore ! They want guns to protect themselves and won’t use them when they should ? Ugh it’s too much !
This gunman wasn't running away, so they wouldn't have known where to aim. /bitter sarcasm
Load More Replies...Looks like we need regular people to handle this...since they are the ones actually stopping gunmen lately. All the police know how to shoot are unarmed black people.
They didn't become cops to put their lives in danger. They became cops so they could swagger around in their tactical gear and bully civilians.
Seems Legit?
It's just like the Spanish Inquisition, "Not the comfy chair!"

Gluing Themselves To Table Is So Brave, Wow
You know, I'd agree but then they'd have a better chance of recruiting more people like them. We don't need more people like PETA.
Load More Replies...Peta has so much sh!t against them regarding cruelty to animals, how can they even pretend to be the good guys?
Fully in support of ethical treatment of all living things BUT do not support dumb ineffectual stunts. There are better avenues for all that imagination and energy.
It was effective though , they no longer charge extra for oat milk!!!!!
Load More Replies...I want to not have prejudices, I really do. But everytime I read something about PETA, the members show that they're morons.
When PeTA started up, they were a movement that could be respected. They were actually trying to better the treatment we put animals through. They, unfortunately, have devolved to little more than a borderline domestic terrorisit organisation...they think that showing grade school kids films that would give adults nightmares is "educational." Stupid part is that every single instance they show has been proven to be up to 3 decades old. Add in the fact that up to 85% of all animals "rescued" are put down so they don't have to spend money to care for them...

Acetone won't peel your skin. Solvent exposure is definitely something you want to minimize though.
Load More Replies...No, superglue is is 100% ethyl 2-cyanoacrylate - basically a synthetic oil based plastic byproduct.
Load More Replies...PeTA is making a disservice to *humans*. If they were anymore two-faced, I'd call them professional politicians.

Oh, diamonds are fine, but just look at an avocado and everybody's on you.
Maybe because they figured out that paying thousands of dollars for a little rock the size of a booger is...like....stupid ? I bought my fiance an "engagement car" instead.
Diamonds are more valued at industrial work tbh. If I want to wear something shiny, tiger's eye is a better priced item and looks 10x lovelier than a rock that looks like shaped glass. *mic drop*
I much prefer stones like malachite, moonstone, picture agate, and fire opal. I also would love a tanzanite, that's a gorgeous gemstone!
Load More Replies...Because Kay's commercials made it seem like every woman desires a diamond. Millenials have discovered that women don't need all that shite. They want a loyal, loving, funny partner (most anyway), not an expensive rock on their finger.

The thought of being a decent person has never occured to Elon Musk.
Load More Replies...Elon Musk's outspoken desire to "own the libs" makes me laugh so hard; Who does he think is buying his all electric cars? Right wing republicans??
And left wing Republicans. But mostly wealthy people.
Load More Replies...Why are we surprised Elon pulled out of the deal? (Even though it's the first time he's ever pulled out successfully. This is a sex joke) he legit told the world he'd solve world hunger if he was given a breakdown of how $8billion would do it (I think it was $8billion) & he was given just that & just didn't do it. F**k the dude.
A request to all photographers: please do not take another picture of Elon in a bathing suit. EVER. AGAIN. My eyes thank you in advance.
JerryRigEverything is actually a pretty cool youtuber! He builds a lot of stuff, and even made an elevator for his wife, who is in a wheelchair
Why do people let this guy talk? He should have a handler, or a seeing-eye dog, but for talking , that barks whenever he's going to say something dumb, which is all the time, so every time Elon speaks it would just be barking. Far more pleasant and intelligent.
I don't see the problem with this. I agree, a public platform like social media should be unbiased about what people can post. But Elon is an individual person, he obviously has his own opinion. These are separate things.
That's Right, Poor People Always Spend At Least $8,185 On Their Outfits! This Was Spotted On One Of Those Dumb Entrepreneur Instagram Accounts
I think that whoever made that comparison misunderstood the point. Rich people don't wear brands with visible logo, that's true. Wearing a full-matching Adidas suit makes you look cheap, that's true. But the clothes rich people wear are extremely expensive, for they are tailored, fitting, and made with the best material.
You are right, I have never seen a rich person wearing Gucci or Louis Vuitton 🙄
Load More Replies...The entire outfit I'm wearing right now, including shoes, cost me $12.

They can dust the top of the fridge without needing a stepladder. If dressing up as giraffe for Halloween, they can be the front part of the disguise. Also very handy for reaching items when grocery shopping. Don't have to bend down as far to give them a BJ. Can get cats out of trees (except maybe not sequoias). Can trim hedges. I'm sure folks can think of many more uses for a tall boyfriend.

A Girl At Work Drew What She Thinks The Map Of The USA Looks Like. She's Almost 30 With 2 Kids. The Nc Public School System Has Really Failed Her
I think out of all of these and most posts like this lately this made me pretty sad. Education is so important and essential and for this country to supposedly be the Greatest in the world makes it worse and makes me embarrassed to live here half of the time. Pay Teachers the wage's they deserve, fund school programs, give free lunches. Teachers are treated like c**p enough as it is not only by some students but mostly the parents. All they did was want to help educate these kid's and help them and they are not being paid enough and are treated horribly. So sad man
