On the left is a smile. Probably before her imprisonment and mental abuse. On the right is forcing her lips to form something that resembles a smile. On the left, there is a light in her eyes and they shine. On the right there is no light at all. Kind of empty, really. And afraid, is what I see. It’s like she has had herself torn out. I wish, I hope she could find someone, a professional who really wants to help her. Not because she is Britney Spears and gee, I’m the one who stepped in to “fix” her. Anonymous, and genuine compassion for a human being who has been destroyed inside. But we know she has the strength to say NO and found help to get out of it. Will she ever truly have someone who is not exploiting her for their own purposes? I hope so. She deserves peace and joy. She may just have to walk away from it all, change her appearance, god knows, maybe name and go somewhere and just “be”. For her.

She had heterochromia, due to an chronic eye infection making the one eye looking bluish. She had cataract surgery and the procedure returned her eyesight and original eye color, or so I've read..

The before picture is after she had already had extensive surgery done on her nose, jaw line, and her smile. A real before pic would be 1992-1996 not 2009 (or whenever). Beautiful and talented.

How is that the automatic assumption? The more common cause for this is weight loss. Just because she's a celebrity, people intentionally choose to ignore the natural cause in favour of surgical alterations. Our facial features do look quite a bit different when we gain and lose weight.

Cheek fat is a double edged sword. When I was younger, no one would deal with me when I was out on my own (utility companies (90s-00s so it was in person). Always asked to see my mom and were very condescending, rude and/or refused to believe I was old enough to deal with whatever it was. A lot of teasing in college, being mistaken for being 14 when I was 22. The demeaning, condescending stories I could tell...However, now there are people that think my husband (50) is my dad (I/m 46). Fun now, irritating, rude and condescending earlier.

That is one surgery I understand. I have what is called a "roman nose". It never bothered me, even the worst bullies in school never mention my nose. ONE single person, which I barely knew and didn't not matter to me, made a comment about how big my nose was and since I've been self conscious about it, even though no one else ever said anything and I've modeled for a big brand (for a very short time, by my choice). It's been well over 30 years. Famous people are constantly under scrutiny so it's probably a looooooot of pressure to look "perfect"
